Service, service!

At Animate (in order to get my second stamp,) I bought a can of UCC coffee...the same drink that Katsuragi Misato drinks in the series. On the outside, we have the chibi-Eva characters. They also have one with EVA 01 on it as well as one with all the Eva movie 2 characters. However the chibi one is the cutuest. ^.^ Kawaii! The first stamp was of Rei and the second one was of Asuka. Then we were off to Sunshine 60....

We took the elevator to the 60th floor where the observatory is. After buying our tickets for the observatory, we headed to the middle towards the exhibit. They had information about the two movies, new characters and pictures on the walls.

Above is a pic of the promotional poster of the first movie...followed by the poster of the second movie below.

The flat screens hanging from the ceiling were showing clips of the Blu-Ray dvds that were out already.

Turning a corner, I found where we could get our last stamp. ^.^

Turns out, the Rei postcard is unavailable since it was only for 6/27. o.O Asuka was still available from 6/28-7/14...the duration of the exhibit. Now that is exclusive.

Outside of the exhibit area, they had Eva merchandise for sell...along with a black NERV bag which I was eyeing for a good 5 minutes. ^^; There were also statues of EVA 01 and Ayanami Rei...although the flash of my camera made Rei look paler then usual. ^^;

Some close ups were needed.

We headed back into the exhibit area and discovered a large NERV symbol. Of course, we took pics next to it.

Across from the NERV sign was the famed EVA phone sponsered by Docomo.

That was when I was stopped by one of the staff. No pics allowed in the exhibit! They pointed to a sign that was on the wall that said just that...except the sign was so much like the 'Caution!' and 'ALERT!' signs that were part of the decor that fighter and I totally missed it. lol Of course I stopped taking pics at that point. ^^;

We discovered a hallway filled with cels, douga and gengas which we gawked at for awhile. In another hallway was a glass case filled with merchandise and books. *sigh* If only I can buy one of the cels...which I totally can't afford.... ^^;

The sun was setting around this point so we took our time to actually look at the surrounding city of the obversatory. The view was spectacular.

After a few more rounds, we headed to the exit where we went straight to the front where they sold tickets to the exhibit/observatory area. Why? To get our free postcard of course! Asuka postcard in hand, we left the building. We ended the EVA portion with some pics. ^.^
