Feast Of Memories!
Time line for preparing dinner:
1 week ahead:
Make out a list of what you are having, write your grocery list and go shopping!

3 days ahead
:
Wash all linens and iron.
Take out good dishes and silver and wash.
Double check your supplies, make sure that you have everything that you will need!!

2 days ahead:

Make pie crusts for pies.


1  day ahead
:
Make stuffing
Make rolls
Make sweet potatoes
Make desserts
Put olives and pickles in dishes
Wash and cut potatoes and place in cold water in refridgerator, if you have the room
Try to prep anything that you can think of the night before to save alot of hassle in the morning.

Thanksgiving Morning:

Stuff turkey and roast
Whip cream for desserts
Make mashed potatoes
Re-heat rolls and sweet potatoes
Cook vegetables


Play it safe! Turkey safety!

Frest turkey is very perishable and should be packed in ice until ready to use. Use within 24 hours! (no longer than 24 hrs)

Frozen turkeys should be stored at 0 degrees Farenheit. Thaw in original wrapper in refrigerator. Allow 2-4 days to thaw, if pressed for time, thaw in sink under COLD water in wrapper!

Test turkeys doneness, insert the thermometer in the thickest part of the turkey. The internal temperature should be 180 degrees!! Do not rely on the pop up timer !! We dont want to ruin Thanksgiving by having foodborne illness!!
