| By this time next week, I will be 21. By then, the thrill of drinking will be gone because it will no longer be forbidden. This does not mean I plan to spend the weekend sober. On the contrary, I plan to be smashed and celebrating with 30 of my closest friends. People are actually flying in to help me booze it up.. I have to pick up Breanne in Saint Louis the morning of my birthday. Jen gets in from Chicago around 6:30. I'm still not sure if Theresa is flying in from New York. The rest of them are driving from Bellevegas and Mizzou. Eleven people will be receiving lodging at my humble abode. Eleven people and one bathroom. And most of them are girls. I hope no one (you know who you are) hires a male stripper for my birthday. It was bad enough to get a lap dance from Shaun Til' Dawn at Nat's party. Spring Break in New York was amazing. Jen and I went everywhere. We saw a performance of RENT on broadway, went to dinner in New Jersey and went walking through Tiffany's like we owned the place. We went to Ground Zero, where I was stared at by some Asian tourists who obviously didn't get why I was crying. We took the train to Connecticut and went to the shore. We stayed with my family and visited my Grandma. She looks so much healthier than around Christmas. Then it was back to New York, where Theresa threw a party. Jen's friend Phil came and ended up puking for 12 hours. He slept on the bathroom floor. We went to Saint Mark's and shopped. Theresa got a henna tattoo and Jen and I bought corsets from a store called "Religious Sex". Let the corruption of Jenny continue...first the belly ring and now this... So this theoretical date with Steve is supposed to happen the weekend of my birthday. We'll see. Dave called. What part of "I never want to speak to you ever again" can a person possibly misunderstand? It freaks me out that he doesn't get it...we broke up. He was an asshole. It's been almost a year. I thought when he showed up at my doorstep over the summer that he would understand that I was not happy about him being there. Why is he still in Champaign? He graduated last year. |
