Fantasy Lady

My first Mini, 1972 Morris 1000cc, brought in 1987 for NZ$2000.00, she was not a fine example but were hard to come by in those days. So beggers not being choosers I brought her.

First on the list of course was the tinted windows, (Started to get pulled up by the local plod, didn't have a problem till then, they did appologise for pulling over a girl, ha! little did they know, he,he)

Next up came the mags, wish we could get these still, mini lites are a bit boring! Word was out she was up for a new paint job, so someone went mad with the spray paint...Yuk!!!

After a couple of weeks sanding and prepping she came out of the paint shop, I had no warning of the silver stripe, I was not impressed, but it grew on me.

After alot of persuasion I decided to sell her...(he'll look after it, he loves it!...yeah right!! )

He came back 5 DAYS LATER, to show us what happens when you go up the butt of a Jag!....at leased it was an expensive car I suppose, and beleive it or not the Jag came off second best! Ooops!
