HISTORY OF THE WORLD

THANKLESS THANKSGIVING SHIFT YIELDS BOUNTIFUL CONFRONTATIONS -- On a thankless Thanksgiving workday, Officer Boscorelli (Jason Wiles) is taken hostage -- along with an unhappy family -- when he tries to settle a festering family feud during dinner until one angry relative (guest star Matt Ross) produces a gun, while his partner, Officer Yokas (Molly Price), takes the day off and cooks a festive meal for her own bickering loved ones. Officers Sullivan (Skipp Sudduth) and Davis (Coby Bell) arrest two suspects at once for different crimes, but they are unsettled by Sullivan's untruthful version that he actually saw the one who fired on them, especially when it's learned that the same gun was used to murder a storekeeper. Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar) chides fellow paramedic Doc (Michael Beach) for not calling a fit and attractive woman (guest star N'Bushe Wright, "Blade") whom he tended after her gym-related injury. Bobby (Bobby Cannavale) hopes to change his mother's (guest star Socorro Santiago) mind about refusing to sit down to dinner with Matty (guest star Jon Seda, "Homicide: Life on the Street"), her ex-convict son. Eddie Cibrian and Kim Raver also star.
