| DOHERTY RISKS EVERYTHING TO FREE TRAPPED WORKER FROM MIXER BLADES; OSSIE DAVIS ('EVENING SHADE') GUEST-STARS -- -- Firefighter Doherty (Eddie Cibrian) risks life and limb when he volunteers to climb inside the blades of an industrial mixer to rescue a trapped worker (guest star David Anzuelo) while Doc (Michael Beach) demands that medics use all means possible to keep his dying father (guest star Ossie Davis, "Evening Shade") alive -- even if it goes against the older man's wishes. Officer Yokas (Molly Price), weary of her domestic toil, encounters a successful former classmate (guest star Peter Rini) and toys with the idea of meeting him for a drink after work. The patrolman known as the "Candyman" (guest star Wendell Pierce) returns after rehabilitation but Davis (Coby Bell) accuses him of being crooked after a pimp (guest star Gano Grills) accuses the veteran cop of robbing him. Bosco (Jason Wiles) vows that the cop team will upset the firefighter-paramedic team to reclaim the "Camelot Cup" in their annual basketball grudge match.
