NEW ACTION DRAMA FROM JOHN WELLS(ER) FOLLOW JOINT POLICE, FIREFIGHTER, & PARAMEDIC HEROES -- This face-paced drama hour from Emmy Award winner John Wells(NBC'S ER) follows the hard-charging police, firefighter and paramedic teamswho are mutual counterparts in New York's 55th precinct as they work the "third watch"(3pm-11pm).  Veteran cop "Sully" Sullivan (Skipp Sudduth, "Ronin"), educates his neophyte partner, Ty (Coby Bell, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), as they break up a drunken brawl and deal with hot-shot cop "Bosco" Boscorelli (Jason Wiles, "Beverly Hills 90210") and Bosco's partner Faith (Molly Price, "Pushing Tin"), whose many duties on this shift include rescuing children in a burning apartment and finding a peeping clown.  Across the street is "Camelot", the firehouse where paramedics Bobby (Bobby Cannavale, "Tirinity") and Kim (Kim Raver, "Trinity") roll out and immediately must deliver a baby on a moving subway train.  Also on call is battle-weary "Doc" (Michael Beach), who snatches a falling baby during an apartment fire and introduces newcomer Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar, "Starship Troopers") to the job's cruel and violent ironies.  Adding spice to the paramedic's personal lives is Kim's denied longing for her handsome ex-husband, firefighter Jimmy Doherty (Eddie Cibrian, NBC's "Sunset Beach").
