US 125 would enter North Carolina on US 441 and continue into Georgia along US 441 as well. At Cornelia, GA, it would follow US 23 and GA 13 into Atlanta, where it would follow US 19/US 29/US 41 through downtown. At Newnan, it would turn south onto Alt US 27 and end in Columbus. (GA 61 could be extended south along the remainder of Alt US 27 from Carrollton to Newnan.)
