U.S. 94
	I've come up with a new idea for a highway that links Corpus Christi to "that other San Antonio."  In this case, the lesser-known San Antonio is in New Mexico. US 94 begins in Corpus Christi, TX and follows TX 44 west through Encinal.  Then it picks up US 83 to Carrizo Springs, TX and overtakes US 277 to Del Rio.  After multiplexing with US 90 in Sanderson, it traces US 285 through Fort Stockton and Pecos, TX. US 94 enters New Mexico along US 285, following it through Carlsbad and Artesia before finally splitting off at Roswell.  Following a multiplex with US 70 to Hondo, it replaces US 380 westward to San Antonio, NM.
