In 1995, Sega of America launched the Sega Saturn™ video game system, bringing arcade-quality gaming to the home. Saturn games earned more coveted "Five Star" product review ratings from a popular industry video game magazine than any other platform. In 1996, Sega launched the Sega Saturn Net Link™, a modem that plugs into the Saturn console for online gaming and full Internet access.

Reviews:
Virtua Fighter- This game features 8 polygon fighters fighting it out in a 3D enviroment, with loads of basic and special moves at their disposal. Despite some loss in polygons, and screen resolution Virtua Fighter is a faithful translation of the Arcade game.

After Nintendo released their Game Boy in 1989, Sega started work on their very own portable game system.  The Game Gear was to be "everything the Game Boy wasn't".  It would have a full color backlit screen and be more comfortable in the hands.  The underlying processing power would come from an architecture very similar to that of the Master System.  This would mean extremely easy porting of games from the Master System, which proved to be an attractive feature for third-party software developers.

Reviews:
Mortal Kombat B+
The game has various levels and you can plays as over 8 different people but the graphics are very choppy compared to other Game Gear games.
On September 9, 1999, the world of video games was forever changed. Sega Dreamcast™ burst onto the scene becoming the fastest-selling video game console of the time. The 128-bit, Internet ready hardware delivered the fastest, most sophisticated 3D games ever seen on a video console. It launched with nineteen stellar titles, a built-in modem for surfing the Internet, online gaming, and a graphics engine to rival reality. Stunning graphics and best-of-breed titles like Sega Sports NFL 2K™ and Soul Calibur™ fueled sales and raised Sega's U.S. market share to 15%, up from 0.1% only a year before. Dreamcast has a library of over 200 titles.

Reviews:  A- The original MK for the Sega Genesis is a great beggining to the saga that is Mortal Kombat. The graphics are phenomenal for the Genesis.
Three years later, Sega took another shot at the home videogame market with the Sega Genesis, a 16-bit next generation system far superior to the NES. At launch, the Genesis (sold as the 'Mega Drive' in Europe and Japan) was $189 and came packaged with one controller and Altered Beast. The "Power Base Converter," an adapter that allowed Sega Master System games on the Genesis was immediately released and Sega planned to release a modem and possibly a keyboard for the system by the end of the year.

Reviews: In terms of where it fits in the spectrum of other hockey games, 2K2 is on the simulation end of the rainbow. Hockey enthusiasts will love it. Casual hockey fans will learn something. But everyone will have fun. Why? Because this game is less arcadey, the scoring is kept down.
