The January SPOT belongs to one of the world's most-loved and most-cherished super stars. She comes from a very high profile show-biz family. She started out as a child star, then catapulted herself to superstardom by being one of the first artists to break-out on her own. She's hip, she's chic, and she's definitely HOT as ever. She is none other than Miss Janet Jackson!

Janet is earliest remembered by her role as Penny on the sitcom, Good Times. She played an abused daughter who was saved by one of the show's main characters. From there, she moved on to other roles ---including supporting roles for shows like Diff'rent Strokes and FAME. But her heart belonged to singing and dancing, and she blasted her way on the scene with her 80s hit CD, CONTROL. Since then, she's followed-up with such hits as Rhythm Nation 1814, janet., and The Velvet Rope. She's currently working on her next release, which is due out sometime early this year ---2004. So we gotta give it up to her, folks... With pleasure do I present Miss Janet Jackson as the star of the DAILYdish SPOTlight for January.
