Spring-O-Lator Gallery
As backless high-heel shoes were slowly moving out of the bedroom and the boudoir and onto the street, ladies were complaining that they were difficult to keep on. In response to this problem, Fashion Designer Beth Levine created the Spring-O-Lator. This shoe features an elastic insole that is designed to create tension between the shoe and the bottom of the foot and stay on a woman's foot. The following are some examples I found on the Web. Notice the elastic strap in each insole.
