Dubbed as “Musiko kang Gugma kang OKM” (Musician of Love of Original Kinaray-a Music) for being the first to popularize and mainstream OKM love songs which was used to be considered and perceived as awkward (“buki”), unpleasant to listen to, inferior and/or  mediocre art form.

 

Scriptwriter of Antique’s most widely performed musical dramas like “Maragtas”, “Aninipay”, and “Alamat ni Nogas kag ni Anini”which is a National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ Gawad Alab ng Haraya recipient.

 

Cultural worker of Paranubliun-Antique, Inc. from 1995 to 2006.  Has also served as Project Officer, Treasurer, Auditor and Vice-President of the organization.

 

A poet, visual artist, stage actor, composer, scriptwriter, a computer buff, and an outdoor enthusiast.

 

Sole Philippine representative to a 5-month study and cultural exchange in Denmark, Europe in 1999.
