IDLE Mode
I’m absent from work today. Reasons, I think. First, I’m so languid to get my lazy head up, and second, I’m really sick. So, ‘ey, maybe I’m not lazy after all. Some soft laughs. Heh. Anyway, I’m feeling a counseling [scolding] from my boss tomorrow. I deserve it.:(

Sychopant Intro
Okay, I finally have the site's intro up. The flash is a bit big, so I need your PATIENCE , hold that virtue for a few minutes, will you? Anyhow, this wasn't the thingy I uploaded last week. I don't know, I just decided to totally work on a new art flow today since it's my restday. The effects took me around 4 hours to completely finish all the layers in the timeframe. So I hope you would appreciate this hardwork. I may change this later on if I want to. But for the moment, please take a short look on this. Done via Flash 5.0, I'll learn MX soon. Now, turn your speakers on.=)

FAITH FICS
Many thanks to the members of KINDRED Board for sharing their pieces with us. Enjoy Reading!
ARTIFICIAL CAT [from UK] 7 months since ‘chosen’
It was just passed midnight Faith guessed, as she walked casually down the street. She knew because she could see the odd gang of drunken loud teenagers stumbling through the streets. It was normally about this time the vamps started feeding here in Boston (?), they were quite lazy around here. Some just waited in the shadows until there was the odd drunk straggler, and then whipped out the shadows and pulled them into the alley for the kill. [View the complete fic here]
SLAYGAL [from Australia] The Graveyard
It was dark cold and Stormy as Buffy & Xander walked cautiously through the Sunnydale Grave yard the sky began to rumble and lighting came. “Gee we chose the best bounding activities to do together Buffy” Xander remarked as he wiped a drop of rain from his cheek. [View the complete fic here]
MOTOROLA C331 [from Brazil] That 3 words
Justice’s POV
Last night we stole that diamonds... I still can’t believe that the police are looking the most innocent people I’ve ever seen, Jay and Silent Bob! Jay is so lovely, and sssooooo cute!
“Hey! Whatcha thinking?” [View the complete fic here]
KIGGA THE WIGGA [from U.S.A] Fic: Back to the Old Playground (Part I)
She walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell.
I had been here before. It was Christmas...man that was a while ago. I can't believe it's been that long. What am I gonna say when I see you? What am I gonna--
"Faith?" [View the complete fic here]
STORM Co-Mod [from Indonesia] Ficlet: Back at One (Fluffy Fuffy, I swear!)
Faith rushed into the library of Sunnydale High. Willow and Cordelia just dragged her here, only told her that there was an emergency at hand but didn't give more details on the nature of the event. The Bostonian reluctantly followed the girls. She was still upset over the whole Gwendolyn Post incident, and the revelation that Angel, Buffy's undead lover was technically undead again. Some obscure higher power brought back the souled vampire from heaven and Buffy has been tending to him while hiding his existance from everyone else. [View the complete fic here]

Tru Calling Review
FilmJerk just did a long review of the series' pilot episode.
Based on the pilot episode of “Tru Calling,” I wouldn’t rule out a return for Eliza Dushku to the Buffyverse quite yet. She could be back as the character Faith by fall 2004, if not sooner.
While the initial episode of “Calling” does have some moments, it faces a monumental challenge in squaring off against both “Survivor: Pearl Islands” and the final season of “Friends” when it debuts this fall. For this to stick around – especially when its initial episodes begin in the crucial November sweeps period – it needs to up its game, and fast, from the pilot.
Dushku’s name is a great draw for Buffy fanboys and girls, but in order for Fox to gain a foothold on Thursdays the network needs a much stronger series than what was shown in the pilot. Right now it feels largely derivative, borrowing elements from “Six Feet Under,” “Run Lola Run,” “Groundhog Day,” “Hack,” and even “Kim Possible.” Not a good sign at all for a night that has been a sore point in the Fox schedule since it moved “The Simpsons” to Sundays in 1995; since that time the network has often been forced to stick to movies and tired game shows like “30 Seconds to Fame,” like it did this past season. Flash Away
I am almost done with the Flash Intro. But I need to compress the file for a faster viewing. It should be up not later than next week. Hopefully. Likewise on the track of getting my walk-down on the site's second phase revolution. Watch out for it.=) Darn, it has been raining these past few days, I just want to "zzzzz" outset. Guess I have to start updating so I can do my 5X5 in bed again. Whatever that means. But I only meant, REST! =)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer's ELIZA DUSHKU goes from hunting vampires to escaping cannibals in the horror flick Wrong Turn.
By chan hse may
Website
8 DAYS: What makes Wrong Turn different from other slasher flicks?
Eliza Dushku: We tried to go on a less campy route with this movie. It's pretty serious in terms of the storyline, like what would happen if you went on a camping trip and met with these disgustingly merciless, horrible cannibals.
So no scenes of you in a wet T-shirt?
Right. I think (the movie's producer) Stan Winston said it best when he said in we don't really wink at the audience at this movie.
What's scarier - vampires or cannibals?
Cannibals. Because I don't believe in vampires. Just don't tell anyone on Buffy I said that.
We're not supposed to want to go camping ever, after watching this movie.
I'm actually going camping next week. I've always loved camping for some reason. I've been camping since I was a little girl. I'm such a tomboy, I have my own camping gear, tent and stuff.
Safe to say you haven't encountered anything bad on your trips.
Just the occasional burnt food, but otherwise nothing too tragic has ever gone down.
Site Update
KINDRED has been given the "Lovers Award" by Sinister Attraction. Cool! I mean, as for the honors description, only few will receive this credit. An award which can't be applied for. How's that? I'm not that proud, am I? LOL. Check out the plaque here.
And Congrats to SITE SMG and Stinky Yak Cheese Award for winning KINDRED's captivating award! Keep it up guys!

Hi People! I am currently working on the site's intro. It should be a good one. I promise. Keep telling myself that, I need some actual pressures you know, otherwise, I'll defer for the longest time. Yay! Anyhow, just received the whole season 7 of Buffy. Means, I'll have the Slayer marathon. FAITH! Whoa, Dush, I can't believe you have finished the entire season. Thanks for the copy!=)
Oh, before I proceed, I just would like to acknowledge those who have emailed me. Thanks for all the flattering remarks. Anyform or another- taggy, boards and gbook - I see it. Thanks guys!

Eliza Dushku goes from fighting vampires to changing the future
Taken From Ventura County Star
HOLLYWOOD -- It's a Friday night at a rooftop party, and Eliza Dushku holds court with a mob of reporters with tape recorders held toward her. Under bright white lights on a clear night, stars varying from Fred Willard, who plays the father of the bride in "American Pie," to Emmy winner Michael Chiklis, star of "The Shield," talk about the new season, but none of them, not even Jeri Ryan of "Boston Public" and "Star Trek: Voyager," attract so much press.
Dushku stands in a white pant suit and not the leather outfit she's known for while playing the character Faith on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but she carries herself with Faith-like confidence. She's smack in the middle of a noisy, crowded Fox network press party, just outside the doors to the top floor of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

Musing
Hello! I promise to give you a plunge of Eliza Dushku Crumb, of course, as this is what the site is all about. Allow me, however, to whilst on the days that have kept me frenzied. Just recently, I attended our company’s general assembly at Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel. Anthony Pangilinan [famous anchor/tv host and product endorser], has graced the event and whom in his modest way, defined the value of LIFE. Only that I thought of sharing it with you and the balance......Strive to live a life not only of success but of significance. Reflect.=)
Sweet, I have a NEW and alternative URL,
http://elizadushku-online.com.ph/. Dush, you're the coolest! Thanks for the registration. Guys, please note though that I would still have to edit the redirection to the Splash Page. You may refer to this address for a while- http://elizadushku.tk- until the modification has been done. Thank You!
And the news, I came across this article, a bit aged, though fresh to my reading. Look below.
From Sci-Fi Wire:
Eliza Dushku, star of Fox's upcoming supernatural TV series Tru Calling, told SCI FI Wire that her character is not a superhero like Faith, her role on UPN's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. "She's just this normal girl who's trying to help, but she's only human," Dushku said in an interview.
Dushku plays Tru Davies, a young woman working the graveyard shift at a morgue. She finds herself reliving the days in which her cadavers died. "It's like Groundhog Day," Dushku said. "Her day is starting over. That person dies at 10 o'clock that night, and now it's the day repeating itself. She has to find out who that person is, and she has X amount of hours to keep them from dying."
So far, Dushku has only shot the pilot, which was directed by film director Phillip Noyce, whom she considered "awesome." "He experiments with different shots and different angles and taught me a lot about looking at film, looking at a frame and filling up the foreground as well as the middle and the background and just trying different angles and lighting styles and emotions," Dushku said.
Though busy in her film career, Dushku had no qualms about returning to series TV. "A lot of actors are doing both [films and television], and I understand why, because television affects people just as much as film. People can turn you on in their living rooms, in their bedrooms, and follow you, watch your stories and be impacted and affected in the same way." Tru Calling will air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, starting in the fall.
