Ok...I've been called many names :) My Ex-wife use to call me asshole..but thats nether here nor there. I have been know as GRIM, DARK SOUL, KINDRED SOUL and just plane ole Brian. I was born in 1969..and that makes me somewhere around 34 (I don't count the years anymore)and I live in Cleveland, Tennessee....(you can stop laughing now). As you can tell I am divorced, (AND SINGLE......NOT ANY MORE...I have met a wonderful woman and we are dating..and I haven't stopped smiling yet) I'm a short little dude..5'6" with black hair and green eyes I do have tattoos and body piercings and I love music. I have been playing drums sence I was 6 years old and started playing in bands when I was 16. I got married when I was 22 and had my first child at 23...well my wife had her. We named her Brianna. 5 years later I was blessed with another daughter we named Raven. (more on them later) OK back to the bands...I have been in MANY bands..sometimes with the same people..just a different name. Names like TEMPIST, PHADE, STEELBORN, STRANGE WINGS, PROBLEM CHILD, KALIOPE, TOYBOXX, HORRORSCOPE, DYEVYAT GRAM, THUMPGUN... ..but one band I was in called ToyBoxX was the best out of all of them, 3 of us were core members....we tried to have 2 guitar players...didn't work, we tried to have a lead singer....didn't work...so Greg(Daggar) , Chuk(Slade)(THESE GUYS WERE LIKE MY BROTHERS) and I(GRIM) sat down and said "just the 3 of us can do this...we don't need anybody else"...so ToyBoxX went on as a power trio....Damn the times we had...we went through playing Galm Metal, with make up and big hair to playing Sudo-Thrash to playing Musicians Metal to Horror Metal to playing Techo Metal.....DAMN, WE WERE THAT GOOD!!! for 8 years we played all our different styles...8 years and 2 Albums..and numerious shows,but alas...all good/great things must come to an end...and our own downfall was ourselves....Chuk wanted to keep playing the Horror stuff...ME...I was divorced and just found a new love of my life...I was IN LOVE and wanted to play what my heart wanted me to play (Amy.ahhh how I will never forget you..you tought me alot..about myself, music other than Metal and life, I will always love you)...Greg?...well...he found his path in life in God. So ToyBoxX was no more...I went on to join a Panteraish band called Dyevyat Gram...that changed the name to the HIDIOUS name of Thumpgun(hey I was just a hired gun...I was to only play drums and nothing else)....after 2 years and 1 Album with Thumpgun, I couldn't take being told how to play..what to play and where to play any longer...I quit....but anywho...here is some pictures of when I was in the greatest band ever...ToyBoxX.

Me playing at Cheers...I was forced to play a 5 piece set of Tama(YECH)Drums when I was in Thumpgun...I was told that my set was "too big"....hell when metal music is being blasted out..there is no such thing as too big...Ben always told me to just show up at a show with MY drums and tell Bart to kiss my ass hahaha...Ben is pretty fraggen cool.
I still see Chuk (Slade) all the time...He USE to own a head shop here in cleveland called CIRCUS PSYCHEDELIC. In fact Chuk and I are in the process of putting together a new band..but more on that as it happens. As for Greg (Daggar)...I think he disowned us...no room in his life for God and his old friends I guess (Daggar..I miss you man). It's been over a year sence I have talked to him, been over 2 years sence I've saw him.
HORROR.......gotta love it. Movies, Books, Home Decor. I've read anything horror...from King to J.K. Rowling ( I love all the Harry Potter Books...Brianna and I read them and talk about them all the time) and I've seen just about every horror movie you can think of..but I think that the Hellraiser movies and The Phantasam Movies are my Faves. I love Vampires. I have a Vampire Encyclopedia and own my 3 fav vampire movies, The Lost Boys, Interview with the Vampire and Bram Stokers Dracula

MUSIC..... I have always been a metal head..from the first I can remember...I have 2 older brothers. Danny is 10 years older than me and Mickey is 8 years older than me (I have a sister 5 years older too...but she lives in Texas and we tend to forget about her..sorry Angie haha) My Brothers were always into hard and weird stuff...I remember Danny listining to Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath while Mickey was listining to YES, Rush, Jethro Tull, King Crimson and old Genises..while Angie was listining to Bubble gum crap and disco.....typical teenage girl hahaha. But the frist band I discovered was KISS....Man, Love gun was the first Album I ever bought..I saved all the money I could get to buy that album...but when I was 13 I heard a song called Too Fast For Love by a band called Motley Crue...and I was hooked. Motley Crue will always be my all time Favorite band with Black Sabbath and The Misfits a close 2nd. but I was A teen in the 80's and back then I HATED new wave..but now I find myself downloading stuff like Duran Duran But back then I was all Motley Crue. I also dug the hell out of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ratt, Queensryche, Metallica (damn I hate new Metallica), Slayer, Exodus, Anthrax...Even Poison and Bon Jovi...if it had distored Guitars...I liked it. in the 90's I got stuck on the Gothic Metal bands like Type O Negative, Moonspell, My Dying Bride...along with bands like COC and Pantera. Now a days I find myself listining to some of the New Metal bands..I dig the hell out of Slipknot, Static-X, Korn, Muddvayne and Disturbed.
Somethings I believe in may make the people I know REALLY think I'm a freak...so I won't go into that here LOL......But I love to read..My Fav Writters are Stephen King and Ann Rice...and I've read stuff ranging from Strub to Koontz to Bradbery..to probley one of the greatest writters ever...Edger Allen Poe...I have a HUGE comic book collection..(I still have the kid in me I guess)And Sports...well I should say Sport...I HATE NASCAR...HATE Baseball..HATE Basketball...but I LOVE MY FOOTBALL..the Tennessee Vols are my fav collage team...as for Pro? Tampa Bay Buccaneers (I've been a fan of the bucs sence 79..but was always ashamed to admit it..so if you say I'm jumping on tha band wagon...SCREW YOU!!!...I know more about the bucs than you will ever know in your life time!!!) The Baltimore Ravens and the San Diego Chargers are my teams
