Every so often I will tell everybody what I'm cranking out of my Stereo and what Bands I like.
Right now I have a HEAVY rotation of 3 CDs
DISTURBED - BELIEVE
This CD makes The Sickness (which was a GREAT CD)suck... Mega Heavy with just enough melody to keep it interesting...best song = Liberate
SLIPKNOT - IOWA
Nothing but pure headbanging fun..this CD is KICK ASS...Best Song = Left Behind
OTEP - SEVAS TRA
I was blown away by Otep..the fact that they can play as fast and furious as Slipknot and have a good melodic sound and Their singer..a chick named Otep Shamaya can sing..then GROWL with the best of any death metal singers....Best song = Blood Pigs
I STRONGLY recomend these CDs for anybody that likes their music HARD....FAST....and FUN!!!!
Ahhhh....What do you get if you Cross Faster Pussycat (if you don't know this band shame on you) with The Misfits?......you get The Murderdolls!!! These guys are cool as hell...the Murderdolls is Slipknots' drummer Joey Jordison "other" band.....80's glam metal mixed with the horror lyrics and the raw sound of The Misfits.....you gotta love The MurderDolls....BUT...fans of only the fast bands such as Slipknot will not like Murderdolls....this is a totally different band and sound! so if you feel this is for you...check out the CD "beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls" and the songs Die My Bride, Love at first Fright and Dead in Hollywood.
ONE WORD.........MUDVAYNE IF RUSH and Slipknot had a baby...the bastard child would be Mudvayne. If you are a fan of heavy metal and haven't heard Mudvayne...then just go away...don't waste my time.
I just Picked up Type O Negative's New CD LIFE IS KILLING ME.....and let me say to all you dumbasses out there that said World Coming down sucked...well you can kiss my ass...World Coming Down was cool...sure it was more serious than any other Type O Album...but the sound was still Type O......anywho....if you bitched about World Coming Down..then you will LOVE Life is Killing me......the songs are funny again....but they are faster...this album reminds me alot of SLOW DEEP AND HARD. Do yourself's a favor and pick it up!!!
OH...By the Way....has anybody heard Metallica's ST. Anger? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...is this a Joke or what? Metallica hasn't been worth a shit sence ...And Justice For All...and even that was lackluster. Metallica has to be the Biggest bunch of sale outs EVER!!!! and this New Album is nothing but a slap in the Face to people that Liked Metallica Back in the Ride The Lightining Days.....I wish Slayer would just show up on MTV when metallica is there and KICK THEIR ASSES!!!!!!....Slayer NEVER pussed out!!!!
Right now between listining to my solo project Evil Petting Zoo and trying to come up with stuff for Evil Petting Zoo.....I'm also listining to NickelBack's New CD "THE LONG ROAD"...very good CD....and their cover of "saturday nights alright for fighting" is pretty cool.....but not as cool as FLOTSAM and JETSAMs' cover of it.......and if you want to know what's in my DVD player.......ROB ZOMBIES HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES...this movie is too damn funny....it's not scary at all..but a lot of gore with humor...if you like older movies like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Last House on the Left..then you will like House of 1000 Corpses....and Rob's cover of the Commodores Brick House is bad as hell!!!!!!!!
I just went out today to replace some of the CDs that got ripped off from me of my Favorite band MOTLEY CRUE......I picked up Motley Crue- Motley Crue (Which is a cool CD as long as you think of it as NOT motley Crue because Vince is not Singing on this one...a kick ass singer named John Corabi is the singer....pick it up ...it is really good) and Motley Crue - Generation Swine (which is VERY kick ASS CD)....most Motley Crue fans hate these two CDs...but both are cool in ther own way......hell just listen to Afraid from Generation Swine....It kicks ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!
