Roleplay Questions

1. All players should learn this one main fact. If you do not feel comfortable roleplaying with another person, for what ever reason, you may ignore the roleplay, even if you have already joined in. You have the right to ignore roleplays and roleplayers at will.

2. Who do I contact for room information? Who do I contact to get started as a new character? Who do I contact if there is trouble in the room?
You can contact any room leader (Contact Administration page) and for problems in the room you may contact site Admin(Kalinda on the Contact Admin page)

3. Do I have to be a member to play or learn here?
No, this is a free site and a free room designed to teach players about Vampire: the Masquerade
Then why does the chat room entrance ask for user name and password?
These fields are for people who ARE members here. This assures that no one else can use their chat handle and many other benefits.

4. How do I display an image?
Images you want to display must be on a web server somewhere on the internet. They cannot be displayed from your computer's hard drive. These images need to be in .jpg or .gif format and you would use a command such as this:
IMG SRC=http://www.whateverwebserveryousubscribeto.com/ usernameyouchose/nameofpic.jpg(or.gif)
You will need to add brackets < > at the beginning and the end of the code.

Vampire Questions

1. What is Vampire: the Masquerade about?
The game is set in our world, in which immortal undead creatures live in secret societies, maintaining a "Masquerade" to hide themselves from mankind. There are several vampiric clans, which are sort of extended families, or vampiric "races". The Kindred (as vampires call themselves) live in a rigidly hierarchical society, with elder vampires of more powerful blood ruling over younger and weaker vampires. Players take on the role of a vampire, seeking to survive and advance themselves within their secret world.

2. What is an Antediluvian? What are the names of the Antediluvians for each clan?
This is a good question, but I'm not gonna tell you...but here are the first and second generations. Almost all vampires could find out about these especially Caine. Enosh or Enoch, Zillah, and Irad vamps would have to dig a bit. But the Antediluvians? Well that would be just asking for trouble! Their is power in names, and I'm sure they don't want you to know.

3. Can a vampire eat food or drink? Yes and No. No, all organs within a vampire's body are dead, thus their stomachs cannot digest food or drink. This results in immediate regurgitation of anything ingested other than BLOOD. Yes, if you purchase for your character the "Eat Food" Merit, this allows a vampire to have the capacity to eat food or drink and even savor it's taste. You cannot derive any nourishment because you cannot digest anything you eat or drink, and there will be some point during the evening when you must force yourself to heave it back up.
