Student/Professor/Administration Pact

What is expected of each student:

* You will read an agree to follow the "Roleplayers Creed."

* Please read ALL of our web page before you seek knowledge or information from other web sites. If you do not find the information you seek in the Kindred Academy web pages, ask an Administrator for the info. Almost every web site out there with White Wolf information is written in the author's own words, not straight from the book. The information on the Kindred Academy's web site is taking directly from the main book: Vampire: the Masquerade, WW#2300 from chapters 1 through 4.

* A character sheet is required for every student. We will help you create one if you do not know how.

* Respect to the Academy and Administrators: You WILL uphold the Masquerade in all Elysium areas. This means absolutely NO FEEDING while in Elysium! Nor will you allow your character to reach the throws of frenzy while in Elysium!

* If you wish to bring a friend in to learn and they are mortals, you must make an OOC (Out of Character) announcement on the Kindred Academy Writing Wall to inform everyone else of their presence and they will be housed within the dormitory in Elysium (until which time they are embraced) to prevent a potential progeny's certain death.

* No sexual scening(cybering), no submissives or slaves, no avs more than 350 pixels, no nude avs, no real time issues or posting of private personal information will be tolerated.

* As a student you must learn the ways of your clan or blood line. Your history and clan lore will be invaluable to you in the future. Both in your roleplay and in your character background information.

* You will be taught and expected to utilize all of your character's Traits plus any Merits & Flaws (chosen in character creation) frequently to ensure that you become a well respected roleplayer throughout the realms.

* You will master all 5 levels of training before you seek additional levels of powers or traits (within the Kindred Academy only).

* When envoking your Disciplines you are expected to include the following: the name of the Discipline, the name of the level and the number of the level in parentheses, describe the power what it does, how it works and the outcome or the affects it has on any or all people present. Just naming your Discipline is not acceptable. AND, you are expected to follow this same rule when you are in other rooms as well. Here is an example of the proper way to write the action of a Discipline: "invokes Dominate/Command(lvl1), locking eyes with (subject), influencing your thoughts and actions by speaking a one word command which you must obey instantly and is audible to everyone else present, but only affects (subject) because of direct eye contact: "STOP!" This is the format used to test you by as well.

What students can expect from Professors:

* You will NOT be taught combat by any Professors here.

* (as a beginner)You will learn how to create a character with a character sheet and to play that character properly so to interact with other characters.

* (as an already established player)You will learn how to improve your roleplaying skills and learn your character's powers and ablilites better.

* Your training will come from the Vampire: the Masquerade (3rd edition) #WW2300 book ONLY!

* You will be taught your Disciplines one level at a time and you will be expected to not only know your material but you will be tested in situations to see if you are able to use them wisely. Once you have mastered your base Disciplines to a level of five (where applicable) you have acheived the highest level of training offered at the Kindred Academy and will receive a certificate to acknowledge your acheivment.

What students can expect from the Administration:

* We will help you build a BASIC character sheet using the standard beginning dot allocations according to the VtM, while aiding you in choosing the levels most appropriate for your character and clan you have chosen.

* We are here to interact with your character's in night to night situations, allowing you to percieve the nuances of vampire roleplay. Which includes Administration stepping into Storyteller mode to offer suggestions to enhance your roleplay or to point out mistakes you may make in your roleplay.

* The Administration is here to mediate, encourage and "watch over" the roleplayers in the Academy. When situations get out of hand, our "Pest Control", Connor, will step in to take control of the situation.
