What's New!
1-02-2004
Okay, so I've been a little remiss in keeping up!  All our pups have found wonderful homes and are all doing splendidly.  They are the apple of their owners eyes!  As for our brood, Blossom started her show career by getting a point in her very first show going Winner's Bitch at a show in Maryland.  Her next shows will be the Spaniel Club events in Philadelphia, then the Garden State shows in the Meadowlands prior to Westminster.

5 weeks old and having a blast!  Both puppies and breeders!  Soooooo cute!

Yesterday, the Pups turned 3 weeks old.  All  are happy and healthy with eyes and ears open!
3-6-2003 Their Here!
Storm whelped 7 healthy puppies on March 1.  What a morning that was!  4-girls, 3-boys, 3-liver and white, 4-black and white!  We are happy to say that Mom and babies are doing fine.  Check out our Puppy page for some pix.
2-02-2003 It's definite, Pups are on the way!!!

Storm will be delivering the first week in March.  We are excited and pleased with the help and advice we are receiving from our "Dogworld" friends; Debbie Evans, Marie Berthou, Claire Wisch, and Howard and Heidi Huber.  This litter should produce mostly liver and white Springers, but we are expecting a few black and whites as well.  All inquiries please direct to us to: caliber1@optonline.net

Well we are fairly certain after that Storm is expecting!
Selecting the right breeding is something we thought long and hard about.  Originally we were going to breed Storm to a Champion currently one of the top English Springer Spaniels in the country.  However, when the time came, he had been shipped  to the midwest.  Rather than scramble to find another mate with whom we were unfamiliar with, we decided on breeding her to our other Champion, Trevor.  Trevor was going to be Storm's second mating, anyway, so we just moved him up in line!  This mating should be very special as both come from tremendous lineage.  These  puppies should be of show quality, but more important, of excellent temperament and physically sound.   Both Trevor and Storm  still compete in the show ring, but more important, they are  the most loveable well behaved dogs I have ever been around.  I am sure this litter will be filled with solid gold puppies for the ring as well as the home.

Happy Holidays!
Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season.  Well Storm is in season and we are hoping that Trevor gets more interest in her than his tennis ball so we can have pups.  If all goes well, we'll have pups in March!
Trevor will continue his agility training in January as well after a fairly long layoff.  We can't wait!

7-24-02
Hello, it's been awhile!  We are happy to report that everyone is in great health.  Storm and Trevor will both be competing up at the Sussex County Fairgrounds over the Labour Day weekend.  Of course we will enter them in seperate days so they don't compete against each other.  Trevor begins Intermediate Agility classes in the fall.  He and his owner are having such a great time with each other!  What a great way to bond with your dog.
2-9-02
Storm took Winners Bitch at the prestigious English Springer Spaniel Club of Long Island (usually a warm-up  for Westminster).
With the 4 points she won, Storm has now become a Champion!  What a long but well-worth-it day!  We did not compete with Trevor, but plan on showing his majesty sometime in March.

Storm is back competing after several months at home.  At SPaniel Club in Philadelphia this past weekend, she just missed becoming a Champion.  After taking 1st Place in the Am. Bred Class, she performed beautifully in the ring, and by all accounts (people at the show) she should have been selected as Best Bitch.  Unfortunately, judges are human, and this one didn't pick Stormy!  Next month it's off to the New Jersey Meadowlands where both Storm and Trevor will compete.  Trev starts his third class of agility this week as well.  He and I can hardly wait!

First To all a Very Happy Holiday!  What a difference a few months makes.
To those that lost loved ones in the tragedies of 9-11, may God bless you.  I was in the Twin Towers the previous day and witnessed the disaster commuting in to the city on 9-11.  The horror.  Our world has altered dramatically.
It has been fairly quiet on the dog front.  Storm needs just 3 points to become  a Champion.  We have been holding her back a bit and  not been showing her much since the Summer.  She will compete at Spaniel Club in Philadelphia in January, hopefully to become a Champion!

Trevor and I are continuing our Agility training.  We made it through the Beginners class, and are now in Advanced Beginners.  Trev loves the jumps  and the obstacles except for the weave poles  and the tire jump.  Right now those are his trouble spots.  He is also learning rather stubbornly something he never had to do as a Champion Show Dog:  Sit and down commands!!!  He's starting to get the hang of it though.  Our goal is to compete by the late Summer or Fall.

WOW!  Another very successful weekend down at Sand and Sea.  Storm took two more Best of Winners titles and also a Best Opposite over a Specialty dog!  Storm is now holding 11 points as last Sundays win down in Virginia will turn out to be another Major.  Storm will next compete at the Somerset Hills Specialty on September 8, then in the Finger Lakes.  By then she is sure to have become a Champion.
8-09-2001
With Trevor at home enjoying the sun and heat, Storm was down in Roanoke, Virginia earning Best of Winners honors on Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday was Storm's first Major (3 pts.)!  Sunday might have been a Major, but there is some confusion over the number of dogs present from the Judge, although it was the same number as Saturday.  So Storm either now has 8 points and TWO Majors or 7 points and ONE Major.

What a Weekend!
At the Putnam KC in Stormville, NY on Friday, Storm took Winner's Bitch, then Best of Opposite, which set the stage for what turned out to be an UNBELIEVABLE Saturday.
On Saturday,
Trevor won his first Best of Breed competition! Trev was the consummate pro, just eating up the competition in a great performance, defeating two specialty dogs on the way!.  Storm was right by his side as she took Best of Winners and then Best of Opposite for the second day in row!  Storm now has two points on her way to her Championship.  The weather was beautiful, sunny low-mid 80's and light humidity.  A perfect weekend in perfect surroundings.  One of the best show spots I've been to.
7-14-2001
Nothing is more exciting than competing in the most important Springer Specialty show of the year; the ESSFTA Springer Nationals!  Both Storm (Serenity's Sand Storm and Trevor (Stoneybrook's Reverie) competed and I am happy to say they both did fantastic.  While not walking away with the big prizes, Trevor made the cut in the Best Of Breed Competition out of approximately 60 dogs, and Storm made the cut in her 12-18 month age group.
