ECW December To Dismember

Well, I guess if you're a really serious fan of Pro Wrestling, you could have probably guessed how this PPV would turn out. It was mediocre. Before you start asking yourself, oh man, there wasn't any good matches? Stop right there, because there was indeed.

Match 1-- The Hardy Boyz vs. MNM

This was actually one of the most impressive opening matches on any ppv i've seen. It was seriously that good. Well rounded match, solid, with plenty of great spots. Also, the crowd was very alive with plenty of chants for Melina including "She's got Herpes", and "She's a Crack-Whore". Just a fun, fun match. Hardyz win --4.5/5

Match 2-- Balls Mahoney vs. Matt Striker-"Extremely Enforced" Rules Match

This match was way better than expected. Surprisingly good in fact. Great "mat" wrestling, great spots, good all around match. Almost kind of "old school". Another fun match. Balls Mahoney Wins! Finally an ECW original gets put over, about damn time!--3/5

After this match, camera goes to back, Sabu is down with a bunch of trainers, doctors, and such around him....

Match 3- Elijah Burke & Sylvester Terkay vs. The FBI

Um.... Yeah not much to write about this one. Your usual ECW original squash. Terkay can really move for how big he is. Burke is a great all-around athlete, but unfortunately neither of those things could keep this match from being a let-down. Terkay and Burke win--1.5/5

After this match, heyman is shown in Hardcore Holly's dressing room, tells him he's in the chamber....

Match 4- Kevin Thorne & Ariel vs. Mike Knox & Kelly Kelly

Pretty boring. I think Mike Knox needs to go to OVW or DSW- DESPERATELY! Anyways, not really any big spots at all. Mike Knox ditches Kelly Kelly in the ring, Ariel pins Kelly. Sandman comes to the rescue after the gang up on Kelly. Pshh whatever--1/5

Match 6- The Extreme Elimination Chamber

The match was great at the beginning, lots of great stuff with Holly and Van Dam. Next entrant- CM Punk w/ steel chair. AWESOME spots with RVD, Punk and the chair. Next entrant- Test w/ crowbar. Test is actually boring-incase you didn't know already. CM Punk eliminated. Lashley in, Holly eliminated, then RVD eliminated. Lashley and big show are left. Kind of a funny note, Neither the Table, nor the Barb-Wire Baseball bat are acutally used....Anyways, we all know by this point who's going to walk away with the gold.... ok match, Not very good for an Elimnation chamber that was supposed to be extreme. Winner, and NEW ECW World Heavyweight Champion- Bobby Lashley --2.5/5

Overall, it gave what was expected from an event where only two matches were announced in ALL of the build up for it. Very mediocre. The Hardyz, Balls Mahoney, and CM Punk/RVD's steel chair work save this one from being horrible.
