Bailey basically took Tacuma/Weston to the woodshed and kicked their ass. What is amazing about DB's playing now is that his sense of intonation and dynamics have elevated to a new level. Oddly enough, I find myself wishing that DB would record an album with Kenny G. I bet it would be Mr. G's last record.
Have you ever noticed that almost every Derek Bailey record was made in one day? I bet if they gave time of day as well as date you would find that they say something like 1:30 pm - 2:20 pm.
