The place where you first entered the game is call the temple of Skua. By typing /help, there shows a list of basic commands that will help you out by a bit.
First walk north into the backroom of the temple to see if there is any extra cloth armor that you'd need. Shift+right click on the item that you are not sure what it is.
If there is items that you would need, pick the armor up with shift+left click. Then shift+left click to equip it. Place the armor or weapond into the slot with no "X" on top of it.
If there isn't any armor you'd need, exit the temple to the south. Then cross the street. You should be standing before a cloth armor shop. To make sure just look at the sign. (shift+right click)
When you enter the armor shop (shift+left click on the door), you would see Ruth and her guard. In order to open a window of what ruth sells just look at her like how you look at all the players to know their ranks and info (alt+right click).
Right click on the armor that Ruth have. Find cloth armor then click on the once that you need. There, you just learned how to buy items. Now to sell... If you got some extra items you can place it in the backroom's carpet or just sell it at Ruth's. Though I prefer you donate to players who need it. Yet, some items you'd rather sell. You can pick up your armor (shift+left click) then drop it into Ruth's screen (shift+left click). You should be getting use to picking up and droping items, looking at players or NPCs, walking around, communication skills,  opening doors/chest and looking at signs.  
Now, after you've wear all your armor, walk out the street and toward east where you will run into Jamil's quest house. All quest houses have no signs, so its much easyer to distinguash while comparing to other buildings. Now, Jamil would ask you to get him the gold amulet from the theives house and he'll teach you bartering.
Try to find the theives house to the east. Then before you enter the room, spell youself first before you enter any unknown buildings that you don't think would be really safe. Find the word protection and light on the word list at the lest of your screen. When you found it click on both of them once. It shouls say you feel protected and such. Even if you are a templer you'll need to spell yourself. For templers, best to see if any hara is around to spell you first, if not you'll need to spell yourself. Remember to ask nicely... For hara, find magic shielf and ghost companion. Cast those too. when you have a GC (ghost companion), select it (alt+left click) and then cast protection on him too. Magic shielf is a self spell and it rares off slowly, so remember to keeo that up. Now, you may open the door and wait for your apponent to come to you (or use ctrl+left click to attack manually). Never go running into a building that you don't know.  After killing your first theif by yourself (hara use blast on the selected target) you should have ranked to Privet First Class. GRATS!!!
Now, in the room where you got the gold amulet, there leads to another room. Go inside to get your reward. It's in a chest. To get it shift+left click on it. Beside chest, there is also somthing call pole or destination points. When you touch it, it gives you exp for exploring that place.
When you got the reward, return to Jamil for the bartering skill and some extra exp just for the thanking. Pick up your amulet (shift+left click), then ctrl+left click to hand it to him (make sure the amulet is following the cursor). After you've hand it to him, you should have gotten the bartering skill and solve the quest.
After you solve the quest, you should have got enough exp to rase your strength or agility skill by one. I would sugest you to add one st or ag skill rather then sword or anything else. Even if you are a hara you would still need leather armor before you nead to your next quest. Click on the "+" beside the st or ag skill then click on "update" at the bottom of the word list. You'll need 12 st and ag base for your next armor (leather)...
Now just a few tips before you left to explor the theives house and try to get 12 st/ag base (since you'd be able to do haunted castle (next quest) after achieving leather armories).

Secreat room dose exist in the world... Thus, keep your eye open on your mini map. You'd be able to see a black unexplored area where there is no door leading into it... in this case, it is most likely a secreat room. Just walk into the walls... and try to run into it :P

Luck, it's what keeps your relationship with Skua. If you give nice items or money (work the best) to the shrines, Skua would either be pleased, or, neutrual... But, if you anger him by giving him very bad items, then he'll be angry at you (doh). Well, if you got good luck, latter on when you start mining, you'd be able to get better gems more frequently. Also, there'd be more of a chance for you to be saved in deaths.

No spamming (really piss people off)
No all cap letters (exect for GRATS, it's quite irritating)
No swearing (doh!)
