This is Charley Toledo Tummy Tickle Squishy Tounge Dork, otherwise known as Chunky =P We went a little overboard on her name! We call her our Netherland Dork. Do you think the judges would like her?! She is a 8 year old Sun Conure. She has every color of the rainbow on her except purple (unless you count her leg band). She is more noisey than she is pretty, lol. We love her though. She doesn't talk but she does a whole bunch of tricks including hand shake, dance, "wuggas" (don't ask), and Birdy Ball! Birdy ball is like volleyball but with balloons ;) Charley hits them with her beak. Charley sadly passed away February 5, 2008. |

This "little angel" is Katie and Zoe's 3 year old puppy, Sami. She is half Miniature Pinsher and half Pekingese. She acts and looks just like a Min Pin. Except she has the big, sad Pekingese eyes, and an underbite lol. She's a hyper little thing, but only 16 pounds. |

Pepper(right) and Abbie(left) came to Kingdom Lights on October 1, 2008. They had escaped from their cage when their owners left it open while they cleaned the cage. After eating a few gardens, some of the neighbors started getting frustrated. One of them called a friend of mine who is in 4-H with me. She talked to us and we went to go catch them so they didn't become coyote dinner. At first there was no sign of the rabbits. All of a sudden I spotted Abbie running in one of the neighbor's yards. We went around and grabbed her while the other neighbors (who we found out were actually the owners) also tried to catch Pepper. We started talking to the owners and they said they hadn't seen them in ten days. Although when we mentioned that we were trying to save the two bunnies, the mom asked if we wanted them because they didn't want them very much anyways. I gladly took them. She told us they had gotten them in March. We are suspecting that the family got them as babies for Easter. For now, the two have a save, enclosed home where they can be happy. Abbie is a sable point magpie and she is very sweet and very mellow. Pepper is broken steel and a very energetic little boy who does not stop running but is very sweet. |
