Jamie

Thanks for a great holiday. I learnt a lot of things such as putting the weights on with the heaviest at the top and the lightest at the bottom.
I learnt that you should wet the line when you tie a blood knot so you do not damage the line. The one other thing I learnt was that my waterproof trousers dont't work!
I liked watching Steve catch a big fish. I caught the biggest fish I've ever caught.
The hostel was very nice and so was the food.

Thanks Jamie.

Andrew

When we went on our trip we all caught lots of fish and learnt a lot.  I enjoyed the trip and did not miss home.  In the first match I only caught one fish and I caught it under a big umbrella which was cosy underneath.  I was under a big umbrella because it was raining.  In the second match I caught 13 fish and won the match.  In match 3 I did not catch any fish. In match 4 I caught 4 fish and won 5 points, because one of my fish was a silver bream, which is worth 2 points.
At the end of the match I had the most points and won.
Thanks for the trip and all the work you have put into the club.

Thanks Andrew.

Hi guys, Jess here,

Just to say how much fun I had away on the weekend with the group, we had loads of fun.
The Angling Project is brill and we were so lucky to get on there and all the group really enjoyed it.  It was an excellent weekend away.  We all want to go back again.
We had so much fun I can't explain how good it was.
I learnt a lot from the weekend away.  Now I can do things on my own when I go fishing and I don't need to bother my Dad.
I would like to thank my Grandad and Uncle Rob for helping, it made a difference and took a lot of strain off my Dad's bad back.  Not forgetting my Mum who worked extremely hard in the kitchen.  We always had lovely hot or cold meals. She made sure we were full and never hungry, she always brought drinks and food out.  Thanks Mum.
The time that was really funny was when I was fishing with my Dad and Michael.
My Dad put some maggots in a sling and there was a gust of wind and my Dad pulled the sling back and it broke and most of the maggots fell onto me and fell into my bra.
Michael could not stop laughing.  Yuck it was really horrible!
The weekend away was brilliant and I would like to say thanks to my Mum, Uncle Rob and Grandad for helping.
And the biggest thankyou to my Dad. He has put so much time and effort into the weekend.

Thanks Dad.        Love Jess.
