It would be impossible to list everything but the following are some of the things that good anglers notice and put to use for them.
Weather.
The temperature (on the day you are fishing and also the past few days)
Air Pressure (high pressure with clear skies or low pressure with lots of cloud)
Sunlight
Wind (Strength and Direction)
Water
Depths
Size of Water
Features (Weed, Fallen Trees, changes in depth)
Water flow on rivers or streams
You cannot learn watercraft over night, but each time you go fishing you will build up your knowledge
