Young fisherman from Sunbury joined the battle to save the Egham Swan Sanctuary last week.
The Kingfisher Piscatorials, led by Steve Gray handed in a petition with more than 1000 signatures to Dot Beeston on Friday night.
Mr. Gray said we have worked for the sanctuary in the past and when I heard about their plight,
I started a petition. I hoped to get about 500 names and ended up with over 1000.
