Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense is by far, the most important ministry to our nation. The current reigning monarch is the Commander in Chief of all military branches, including The Royal Army, Navy, Air Force and Special Tactics Team. The Ministry of Defense also regulates local police and firemen.                       All men between the ages of 18-20 must enlist one year of service to any branch they wish. This mandatory enlistment helps educate and possibly career individuals into the working security of our nation. Women are not required to enlist, but may do so if they choose.             The Military Academy in Mogadishu is the centre for the Ministry of Defense, and the training facility for initial recruits.

Everyone is encouraged to join only if you plan to live in Somalia, and those of Somalia heritage are automatically accepted.
