This is a rare U.S. Glass covered sugar bowl produced circa 1890-1915. It stands 6 3/4 inches tall and is 4 1/2 inches
across at its widest point.
We have a "Have You Lost Your Mind" request. This sold on ebay for $280. I am familar with the seller so I'm happy for him, but come on guys this is a sugar bowl. There have been several on ebay in the past few months. Heacock said this was worth $125 a few years ago, so maybe $280 isn't too far off the mark, but to me it just seems high. And that last minute sniping with 1 and 2 seconds to spare makes me feel like I'm watching an old fashion duel. Were your mouses smoking?
