Her shoe was so tightly gripped by the grate that she stood one shod on the tarmac while her husband pulled the shoe from the grate. |

(39) A magazine ran a story about “shoe mishaps” in this year’s largest major fashion by a famous fashion designer. First, the shoe of one of the models flew off during a show. Then, another model had the heel of her shoe broken (at least, this is what she said afterwards), and she fell down while walking on catwalk and twisted her ankle. Despite suffering pain, she continued her walk. The news story was accompanied by photos of her collapsing, as well as a single hi-heel slide upside down on the catwalk. Possibly, it belongs to the first model whose shoe flew off. Unfortunately, there were no further elaboration in the stories as to whether those two models continued their walk one-shod. Possibly, at least one of them did and the photo of upside down slide proves it. |
