This is a review of a 1:72 scale Avro Vulcan, the kit was bought in Leicester city center for 21.99 pounds.
The kit was built right out of the box and over the years has become faded scratched broken and has been re-painted and has had a compleat change of markings from XM607 [the gate gard at RAF Waddington] to XH562 based at RAF Scampton. And if that wasn't it she has had a second coat of varnish and i don't think she looks bad even if do say so!
Over the years she has been subject to violence by a member of my family, Mum picked it up and through it down in anger!
Thus the 18 wheels got smashed off and at one time i did rebuild them useing the original wheels but new undercarige legs made out of match sticks and they looked alright but i moved house the box got droped mutch to my horror. Which left me in a bedroom full of boxes, with planes being glued on the floor. |
