“Broken Innocence” Chapter 15

“Our help?!” Rukia exclaims.

“What makes you think you are going to help you after all the crap you put us through the last few days?” Ichigo questioned.

Hideo turned with a sincere look on his face, “I know what I have done the last few days was wrong and I am sorry for that. I know I made things a real mess for everyone, but it took me a while to figure out what was really going on here. The Grand Fisher was using me for my spiritual powers. He knew if he could get me to follow him and do his bidding, I could kill Ichigo. He knew Ichigo had no qualms in killing a Hollow, but he knew he would have seconds thought in killing a human, making it just that mush easier for me to defeat Ichigo.”

“So the Grand Fisher wanted you to kill Ichigo for him?” Orihime questioned, Hideo turned looking at Orihime as he nodded.

“So why should we trust you now?” Ichigo asks him.

“You shouldn’t…” Hideo replied.

Ichigo chuckled as he replies, “You ask for our help then tell us we should not trust you. What do you want kid and why are you really here?”

“I got want I wanted the other night. I sought revenge for my parent’s death and I got it.” Hideo clinched his fist as the look on his face went to an angered hurt, “and I killed those bastards that took my parents from me.” Hideo paused as he looked at Ichigo, “Now the Grand Fisher has turned them to Hollows to seek you out Ichigo if they fail the Grand Fisher plans on calling an Army of Menos Hollows to come and destroy everything in their paths.”

“Again why should we trust you, how do we know if you are sending us into a trap or not.” Ichigo questioned.

“I am telling you the truth… I never wanted it to go this far, all I wanted was revenge for my parents and I got that. Now I am standing in a downward spiral and I need your help to stop it.” Hideo replied.

“Listen kid we would stop the Grand Fisher if you wanted our help or not. I am with Ichigo why are you here?” Uryu asks.

Hideo dropped his head looking at his feet not replying to Uryu’s question. Rukia walks to Hideo placing her hand on his shoulder.

“What is wrong Hideo is there more to this then you are telling us?”

Hideo looked up at Rukia as he replies, “I did not want all this to happen… I only wanted revenge for my parents.” Hideo replies as a tear makes its way down his cheek.

“We will take care of the Grand Fisher and the Hollows he has looking for us. You just go back to the Grand Fisher and let us know if any thing changes between now and the time we find them or they find us.” Rukia tells him.
Hideo nods as he whips the tear from his face. Hideo turned and walked toward the front door.

“Oh now you use the door!!” Ichigo exclaims in a sarcastic tone.

Hideo walks from the store as Uryu asks, “Are you really going to trust that kid after everything he has done?”

Rukia turned looking out the new hole Hideo placed in the wall of the building as she looked out into the street, she crosses her arms over her chest standing there for a few seconds.

“I think he is truthful in his tellings and his new found feelings he has over this. I believe all he wanted was revenge for his parents and he used the Grand Fisher to get it, but I am not sure about the Grand Fisher using him to get to Ichigo.”

“Then why did you send him back to the Grand Fisher?!” Ichigo exclaims.

“Because if he is telling the truth about everything the Grand Fisher will start to become curious if he does not return back to them.” Rukia replies.

“And if he is lying?!” Ichigo exclaims.

“I have not figured that part out yet.” Rukia replies turning and looking at Ichigo with a smile. Ichigo slaps his forehead with the palm of his hand as he lets out a long sigh.

“Don’t worry Ichigo…” Rukia replies with a chipper bounce, “I will figure out something before too long.”

“Well you better do it quick because their on their way. I can hear those damn Hollows screaming down the street now.” Ichigo tells her, as they all turn looking out on to the street through the newly made hole in the store.


Ichigo looks at the others as he darts out of the building going to fight the new Hollows that have been brought their way.

He knew they were going to be fighting with great vengeance since they where there to kill him and him alone.

Ichigo stands in the center of the street waiting for them to show as he props his Zanpaku-to on his shoulder. Finally, the two Hollows that were know as Nobuo Amano and Daisuke Koroshiya showed themselves along with the Grand Fisher. They were destroying buildings and objects as they walked toward their destination. Ichigo was shocked by their enormous size as they stepped toward him.

“Ichigo are you sure you can do this?” Rukia exclaims looking at their size as well.

“I have got it under control Rukia. You just get out of here before you get hurt.” Ichigo tells her.

Rukia did as Ichigo told her as she ran back to the shop turning to watch what was going to happen next, she knew without her powers she could not be of any real help to Ichigo so staying out of his way was the best thing to do.
