It was Monday morning and Isabella had what felt like a rock sitting in her stomach. She stood in front of her mirror in the bathroom as she brushed her hair not even paying attention to what she was doing as she played the day repeatedly in her head and what she was going to tell Zack and Sebastian. She sat down her brush and walked from the bathroom still in a daze she picks up her things and goes down stairs to have breakfast with her mom and dad.
While she sat there, she was in her own little world her mom and dad said nothing to her as she ate her food. Isabella finally gets up and smiles as she says, “Wish me luck on this and pray for as little heartache as possible.”
Her mother and Father nod as she turns walking from the dinning room to go to school. When Isabella arrives at school, she looks around for Zack not seeing him anywhere she goes inside to his locker. She did not see Zack anywhere in the halls she saw Jaden and Tristan standing down by the guys restroom as she walks down next to them as she asks them, “Hey guys have you seen Zack today?”
They shake their heads as Tristan walks over to her sliding his arm around her pulling her to follow him he says,
“You know Izzy since your memories have returned. I know you are going to go be with Bastian now, but I think since you have not told Bastian about your memories returning… you and I should get together and have a little fun first.”
Isabella looks at Tristan as she asks, “Really now TJ and what makes you think I want to have any kind of fun with you to begin with.”
She pulls from Tristan’s hold as she smiles at him. He steps toward her as he says, “Believe me Izzy if you were to be with me you would never go back to Zack or Bastian.”
Isabella chuckles as she shakes her head as she says, “You know TJ I did not want to believe the stories I was hearing about you, but as the days pass and the more you come on to me the more I have to believe them.”
Isabella starts to walk away from Tristan as she turns saying, “I am sorry TJ but I would never sleep with you I am afraid I might catch something that they could not cure.”
Tristan’s jaw drops as Jaden laughs at what Isabella told Tristan. They watch Isabella walk away from them going to her first class. When she got to her desk in first hour Sebastian was sitting there reading as he looked up at her slightly from his book. Isabella smiles at him as she says, “Good morning Bastian…”
He looks up completely from his book as he smiles saying, “I broke up with Lisa yesterday.”
Isabella had her back to him, as she stood there shocked by what he told her. Isabella collected herself as she turns looking at Sebastian with a smile she says, “No good morning just news on you and Lisa is all I get.”
Sebastian smiles as he says, “I thought you would be happy to hear that since your memories have returned to you.”
Isabella quickly turns away from him as her mind starts to run wild with thoughts; she draws her hand to her head as she says to herself, “Stop it Izzy stay on track with what you were planning to do, do not let this news waver you one way or the other in your decision you have made.”
She stands there not able to move as she feels Sebastian touch her hand she pulls away from him as she quickly sits down at her desk. She looks at Sebastian with a half smile as the teacher says, “Good morning class…”
“Good morning Mr. Richardson…” The class says.
While class went on Isabella sat there not able to talk to Sebastian as he was talking to her all she could do was give him single word replies and nodding her head. Soon the bell rang ending class as Isabella got up quickly from her desk grabbing her things and walking from the room, Sebastian quick on her heels to stop her.
Once out on the hall Sebastian grabs Isabella stopping her pulling her back to him into his arms he stood there holding her as she fought to get free of him and the hold he had on her as he whispers to her, “Isabella please do not do this. Stop and just let me hold you like you let me that one night.”
Isabella stopped at his words as she stood there she dropped her books to the floor as she quickly wrapped her arms around Sebastian. Tears coming to her eyes they stood in the hall as Sebastian held her not caring who was watching them as he held her close to him she hears Sebastian say, “I want to be with you Isabella, please tell me you want to be with me.”
Isabella pushes Sebastian away from her. She was not ready to tell him and she could not tell him she had to talk to Zack first. She turns quickly walking away from Sebastian as he walks after her.
“Isabella please at least tell me…” Isabella picks up her pace trying to get away from Sebastian as he too picks up his pace to catch her she could her him saying, “Izzy please I want to know… I need to know…” Isabella is almost at a run when Sebastian grabs her stopping her jerks her around to face him as he yells, “IZZY!! PLEASE TELL ME!!”
Everyone in the hall was looking at them as a tear trickles down her cheek she looks at Sebastian as she cast her eyes downward she says, “I cannot tell you Bastian… pleases forgive me.” Isabella pulls away from Sebastian as she turns going into her next class leaving Sebastian standing in the hall. The bell rings as Sebastian still stands there lost in his little world of confusion and pain.
Isabella makes it through the rest of the day without seeing Sebastian, but still she has not seen Zack. She heads to the lunchroom when she hears behind her, “Why did you not call me this weekend?”
Isabella spins around at hearing Zack’s voice her heart starts to sink as she says, “That works both ways Zack.”
He smiles at her when he says, “I am sorry for my little attitude Saturday. There was no call for it, but Halyn was pushing my buttons and I could not take it any more and I took it out on you. I am sorry.”
Isabella gives him a half smile as she says, “I need to talk to you Zack.” The look on Zack’s face changed to being happy to see Isabella to a look of he just lost his best friend.
“About what Isabella?” Zack asks her.
Isabella hangs her head as she says, “It is about us and my memories returning.” Zack takes her hand as he leads her out to the courtyard.
“I know what you are going to say Isabella and I knew it was going to come to this sooner or later. I guess my little stunt Saturday helped you come to this decision between us.” Zack says.
Isabella shook her head, as she says, “No it did not, my feelings for Bastian brought me to this. I care for you too much Zack to keep this up between us. You know as well as I do the longer we are together the harder it is going to be for us to say good bye to one another and I do not want to hurt you any more then needs to be.”
“So you are going to break up with me and start going out with Bastian?” Zack asks her.
“No I am not… I am going to break up with you and stay single. I am not going to go and be with Sebastian nor am I going to be with you. I think this is only fair for all of us you should not be the only one that has to hurt.” Isabella tells him.
“So not only am I going to be without you but Bastian will as well?” Zack asks. Isabella nods hanging her head as Zack lifts her head to look at him he asks, “You love Bastian with all your heart don’t you?” Isabella nods as a tear makes its way down her cheek, “Then why are you not going to be with him? He loves you just as much Isabella.”
Isabella turns taking a few steps away from Zack with her back turned to him she says, “Because it is not fair to you, why should you be the only one hurting here?”
Zack walks up to her placing his hands on her shoulders as he pulls her back to him he whispers into her ear, “Because a love like what you and Bastian have should never be alone and I want you to be happy Isabella even if it is without me. Anyway I know I will always have you as my friend.”
Isabella turns looking at Zack as a huge smile comes across her face she leans into Zack giving him a big hug as Zack says, “I will never regret what happen between us Isabella even the short time we had to spend together was the best times I have spent in a long time and I will always be your best friend no matter what.”
Isabella hugs Zack tighter as she cries he holds her close to him he slowly pushes her back from him as he says, “Why are you standing here? There is a guy out there that has been waiting for you for the last 5 years of his life.”
Isabella kisses Zack on the cheek as she runs from his hold she turns before she walks into the school she smiles at Zack as she says, “You’re the best Zack and one day you will find your true love as Bastian and I did… Thank You and you will always have a special place in my heart.”
Zack smiles as he says, “I better…”
Isabella smiles at him as she turns leaving to go look for Sebastian.
As the day went on we find Sebastian setting out in the courtyard leaning against a tree as he looked up into the afternoon sky, could feel Isabella slipping away quickly and he knew he had to do something and he had to do it today. He looks at the clock as it read ten after one, he knew he did not have much time left in the day that was given to him, and he had to act now before Zack made his move knowing that Zack was not going to just let Isabella walk away from him and let Sebastian have her.
Sebastian lowers his head down resting it on his hands as he propped his elbows on his knees, he runs his fingers through his hair when all of a sudden he sat up erect look out across the courtyard. Sebastian gets to his feet as he runs off toward his car leaving everything he had with him sitting on the ground next to the tree. When he gets to his car he opens the consol digging through it looking for something he could not find it as he reaches for the glove box he opens it dragging everything out of it, still he could not find what he was looking for.
Sebastian looks under his car’s seats, under the mats, between the seat’s and consol. He even went to his trunk looking there when he could not find it he folded his arms placing them on the open trunk lid edge looking into the trunk he rests his head on top of his arms as he says, “Where did it go… I just bought it the week before last and it was in the car Homecoming night, we listened to it.”
Sebastian slams the trunk closed as he remembered Lisa took it with her when he dropped her off Friday night after the dance. Sebastian runs back into the school quickly going to Lisa’s class she was in. Once he gets to Lisa’s class he walks in he looked frantic and needed to talk to Lisa that very minute. Sebastian walks over to the teacher as he softly asks him, “I am sorry sir I do not mean to intrude on your class, but it is very important I speak with Lisa this very minute it will only take like 2 minutes of her time.”
The teacher nods as he says, “You get two minutes Bastian.”
“Thank you sir Thank you very much.” Sebastian was saying as he was quickly making his way back to Lisa turning in circles to see the teacher and watch where he was going.
Once back by Lisa’s desk he asks her quietly, “Where is the CD you took with you Friday night from my car?”
Lisa gives Sebastian a dirty look as she crosses her arms over her chest as she says, “Why do you want to know?”
Sebastian gives her a funny look as he leans back a little he says in a shocked tone, “Because it is mine and I want it back and I need it as well.”
“You need it and what do you need it for Bastian?” Lisa asks him quietly.
“What does it matter it belongs to me and I want it back.” Sebastian tells her getting a little loud. As the teacher clears his throat, Sebastian looks up at her teacher as he mouths, “SORRY!!”
Sebastian looks back at Lisa as he touches her hands with his as he says, “Please Lisa tell me where it is? If you ever loved me like you said you did you will tell me so I can go get it?”
Lisa looks into Sebastian’s eyes she sighs saying, “It is out in my car Bastian.”
Sebastian turns walking quickly from Lisa’s desk as he gets to the door her turns looking back at her as he mouths, “Thank you Lisa.”
A single tear rolls down Lisa’s cheek as she says aloud, “Good luck Bastian and I hope Izzy comes back to you.” Lisa’s classmates turn looking at Lisa shocked from what she said as Sebastian darts out the door.
When Sebastian gets to Lisa’s car he sees what he has been looking for as he opens the car door grabbing the case up, he opens the case seeing the disk in there as he darts off going to the library. Sebastian looks around knowing John told him he was going to be in there at this time. Sebastian looks up at the clock on the wall as it read. 1:53, Sebastian starts looking again for John as his thoughts run wild about loosing Isabella.
Just then, Sebastian turns seeing John walking into the library Sebastian goes quickly to John as he says, “You have to help me John and it has to be now.”
John looks in the eyes of a desperate man as he says, “Bastian what is going on and what is wrong with you.”
“You have to help me bring Izzy back to me. You just have to John.” Sebastian tells him.
“And what do you want me to do. Only you can get her back Bastian.” John replies.
“I know that John, but what I have planed I need your help.” Sebastian tells him.
“Well I guess I could do that. What do you have in mind?” John asks.
Sebastian jumps in the spot he was standing as he grabs John and shakes him slightly as he says, “YES… Thank you John. This is what I want to do.” Sebastian tells John of his plan and they go off to put it in affect.
A little after three John looks at Sebastian as he says, “Dude you better hope this gets her back, because if it don’t everything you and I have done is going to get you suspended and still no Isabella.”
Sebastian looks at John as he says, “I hope it works as well John. Izzy knows how much I love her and by doing this it proves to her that I truly love her more then she knew.”
John shakes his head as he says, “Your crazy Bastian, but I know where you are coming from on this. When I find the right girl for me I hope she and I can share the same love you and Izzy do.”
Sebastian looks at the clock as it read 3:05 he says, “Well let’s do it we only have 10 minutes of school left.”
John sits in his chair by a recorder as he hits a button that takes over the schools announcement speakers. Isabella was walking to her teacher’s desk to hand in her paper as she hears the speakers come to life with Sebastian’s voice.
“Isabella I know you can hear me and I know you are listening to this…” Sebastian gets quite for a few minutes as all you can hear is his breathing, Sebastian starts talking again as he tells Isabella, “I do not know what to say to you Izzy to get you to see how much I truly love you. When ever I think of you or get around you my mine goes blank I know what I want to tell you, but the words are just so hard to come by when I am looking into those beautiful blue eyes of yours. I see my whole life right there as I look deep into your eyes knowing if I just keep holding on and just keep reaching higher that everything will be better for us. I remember the dance we shared at homecoming I remember it like it was an hour ago, holding you in my arms the slow steady beat of our hearts that beat in time with one another. I remember something you said to me and I am hoping you remember it too, you told me ‘You have never felt so complete in our life until tonight.’ Well that is how you make me feel ever day we are together you make me complete as a person. There has never been another person in my life that has ever made me feel that way.”
Sebastian becomes quiet again as Isabella stood there in shock as she looked at the speaker hanging on the wall. Karen walked up to her resting her hand on Isabella’s shoulder. Isabella turns looking at her as a single tear rolls down Isabella’s cheek she looks back at the speaker as she hears the soft sound of music playing in the silence of Sebastian voice as she hears Sebastian again saying,
“Isabella I love you and I will love you until the end of time, not even death can stop my love for you…. I will let this song tell you what I cannot....”

As the song ended Isabella hears Sebastian once more, “You know where to find me.” The speaker goes silent.
Isabella was standing there with her hands over her mouth as the tears flowed down her cheeks she felt Karen lightly squeeze her shoulder as she says, “What are you doing standing there Izzy go after him.”
Isabella stands there looking at her as Karen says, “Isabella look at yourself you’re a mess without Bastian just like he is a mess without you. You two were born for one another…” Karen pauses then adds, “You know you will never find a guy that will love you more.”
“But…” Isabella says.
“BUT WHAT?!” Karen interrupted Isabella saying, “YOU LOVE BASTIAN RIGHT?!” Isabella nods as her tears start flowing again.
“THEN GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND GO GET THE MAN YOU LOVE… HE IS WAITING FOR YOU!!”
Isabella darts from the room going to find Sebastian as she runs toward the gym she starts to climb the ladder going to the roof as she reaches the top she sees Sebastian standing on the North side of the building as he turns seeing her standing there he says,
“I knew one day you would return to me. You always kept your promises no matter what.”
Isabella’s tears flowed as she ran to Sebastian taking him in her arms she says, “It is good to be back Bastian I have missed you so much and I love you more then you will ever know.”
Sebastian holds her tighter as tears of joy stream down his face as he says, “I have waited too long to hear those words from you Isabella, but I must say it was well worth the wait.”
Sebastian pulls away from the hug as he looks into Isabella’s eyes she smiles at him as Sebastian slides his hand behind her head pulling her to him and they share a kiss of true love.
