Biography
After successfully fighting off Devil at the end of the King of Iron Fist 2, Jun retreated to Yakushima to raise her son, Kazama Jin. Three months after her son’s birth however, she experienced labour pains again; after calling out to the ex-Manji Kunimitsu, Jun gave birth to Jin’s twin sister Kitsune. Fearing that Devil’s grip on Jin would cause the young boy to lash out at his sister, Jun entrusted Kitsune to Kunimitsu, and raised Jin as an only child.Five years after the births, a young girl showed up on Jun’s doorstep, bearing a note that claimed she was a long-lost niece. Knowing that the girl was indeed her daughter – and not wanting to alert Devil – she took in Kitsune, raising her alongside Jin as cousins. The two children grew close, and Jun trained them in her martial arts while teaching them the beauty of nature.
One night, when Kitsune was out at a friend’s and she and Jin were alone, the Mexican deity Toshin attacked. Jin tried to protect his mother, but was knocked unconscious by the demon. Jun fought the creature off as much as she could, but fell after a long battle. Jin awoke hours later to find his mother’s body amongst the burning remains of their small cottage – her final wish had been for Jin and Kitsune to seek out their grandfather if any tragedy should befall her.

Four years later, during the King of Iron Fist 3, Kitsune begins to experience hallucination-like spells – spells in which Jun appears to her, telling her that there is something about her past that Jun was never able to tell her. Even after Kitsune discovers her true past, Jun continues to appear to her daughter in visions and dreams, and enlists Kunimitsu and Angel in protecting Kitsune and Hwoarang in the upcoming Iron Fist 4.
