Moon Water: By Blessing this water in the full moon's light, we keep a source of Her strength & Blessings nearby. Fill a ceramic or glass bowl w/ water, & take it out under the full moon. Holding the bowl to the moon, Bless the water saying,"Turner of the tides, You who are fullness, light which doesn't burn, Bless these waters, Bless our home. Leave the bowl outside all night where it can catch the moon's reflection, or near a window(for cold places like Alaska). In the morning, dip your fingers in the water & sprinkle it as a Blessing over everyone in the house. & a bit over whatever projects or endeavors need a boost. Leave the bowl on the family alter for everyone to dip into as needed. Moon Spotting: Spotting the 1st. pale curve of the cresent moon is as much fun as seeing the 1st. star of night, w/it's rhyme, Starlight, star bright. So M-W's have their own moon rhyme. The Moon's curve up in the sky, it's growing & so am I. I look inside myself to know, what I want to plant & grow. The Moon above is full & bright, we see clearly w/ Her light. What we're growing now bears fruit, brilliant crown on solid roots. Unlike the custom of wishing on a star, where only the 1st spotter get's a wish, everyone joins in & wishes together, silently or out loud, for the Goddess' Blessings. In Love & Light, RoseFaerie_AuroraDawn
