Wooden Block Trimmed Mirror Selet blocks for trim. You can find these at garage sales or antiques stores, and determine howmany you will need to cover the perimiter of a wooden framed mirror. The fit does not have to be exact, plan to evenly space the blocks as much as 1/4" apart. Lay mirror face up and flat on an even surface, so backs of blocks will be flush with the bak of the frame. (remove frame hardware if necessary) Use a hot glue gun to attach blocks to wood; for a permanent bond, use wood glue and clamp as it dries. Attah blocks at each corner first, aligning the outside edge of block with edge of mirror; then attach corner blocks to these. Attach blocks along one side; repeat on each remaning side.
