Carvings and Inscriptions
 
 
Carving symbols onto your candle can help you give them a little extra energy for a spell. As well as this, they can serve as something for you to concentrate on while you repeat an incantation or meditate upon your candle.
 
You may also inscribe words or phrases into the candle to give it a specific purpose. Names may be given to candles to identify them with a particular person.
