Portable Changing Pad

hand towel 
oil cloth (complementery colors to towel)
pinking or scalloping shears
sewing machine/ needle and thread (complementary colors)

Pre shrink the hand towel by running through a washer and dryer on hot settings.
Oil cloth is available from craft and sewing stores.
Cut oil cloth with shears, to measure 1/2 inch less than demsnsions of the towel.
Center cloth on towel, wrong sides facing eahc other and top stich all four sides.
(to minimize bulging, sew one short end first, and then each long side, closing the open short end last.
To make the pad easier to fold and to lesson puckering, top stich aross the pad 1/3 of the way down from the top, then again 2/3 of the way down.
