24 Apr 2003 Happy Birthday Julie

Happy Birthday to Julie. Julie is having fun with her new HP laptop. She is now mobile and able to compute while at the many coffee shop haunts we end up at studying at our usual pace. Julie is studying for the most difficult and most prestigious certification in nursing, CCRN (peds). Certified Critical Care Nurse. Very challenging test. I am still taking it one day at a time progressing towards masters degree status. One year left. I will be doing a two month rotation at our old neighborhood, Ft. Polk. Drive up Sunday night and return Thursday evening for two months. Poor Julie, left to contend with our wild family by herself for the majority of the week. She may need emergency coffee outings. Well, Mardi Gras has past and Jazz Fest is upon us. We sure would like a few of you to come out and see us next year for the events!!! It is a wild time. More new pics on our photo album. Take a peek!.

31 Dec 2002 Happy New Year

Well...it has been quite a few months since the site has been updated. Thought I would throw some news up. We have moved to New Orleans, the city itself. Now we are closer to Julie's work and to my school. We have a little house in the "hood." A bit on the less expensive side since I have no income while going back to school for my Masters in Nurse Anesthesia. Only 18 months left!

Julie is still working with the babies in the Pediatric ICU at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. I am doing a 2.5 month rotation there for Anesthesia school. We really don't get to see each other since we are on different time schedules. Nothing ever changes!

Julie is leaving for Mexico (close to Mexico City) to work with Mexican Pediatric Intensivists on a exchange program. She will stay with a host family for a week.

Speaking of traveling...we just got back from Scotland for 10 days in September on a New Orleans Rugby Football Club Old Boys Tour. We had a fantastic time. Scotland is a must see. So clean and beautiful! We had wonderful hosts and traveled from North Berwick to Edinburgh to Sterling. Pics will be up soon!

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Hope to hear from you soo
