Death Shadow Deep in the shadows I lay waiting Watching as the world goes by Not one of the people sees me Continuing about their day to day Sometimes I cry out in my soft little whimpers Pleading for someone to help me But they just walk on past Never pausing, never caring Life, it seems, has turned its back to me Drawing away like I have no worth But death is there at my side Beckoning, ever calling In my despair I reach out And join it. -Sonja Wheeler 5-30-2003 |

Abandon My sorrow goes forever The sun hides its face My heart breaks in mourning Darkness closes in Why are you leaving? Where do you plan to go? Is there something better out there? My voice falters; it fails me The world turns away My tears fall in silence Isolation prevails Do we all mean nothing? Are we just faces to forget? Will your life be worth more? My life stills There is no answer. -Sonja Wheeler 11-11-2003 writen for Eric cause he's leaving us. |
Untitled I am a shadow Sitting in silence I watch as the world goes by Many things I learn From observation The whos, hows, but not the whys. -Sonja Wheeler 11-11-2003 |
