| Reilly is little over a year old, born approximately July 1, 2003. He was kicked out of his deli home when the board of health closed it down (the deli is about two blocks from the Staten Island Ferry terminal in Manhattan). He is perfectly healthy - tested negative to all the bads. He is bowlegged, but it's not a physical hinderance of any kind. It's just another addition to his many lovable charms. He is also near-sighted. Also not a concern, though it does affect how he relates to his environment (he has to 'learn' his territory and would have a harder time adapting to one that was constantly changing - though really I think Reilly can tackle anything!) He is SUPER friendly, loves all people, seems to love all other animals. Reilly is very laid back and affectionate, can be very playful (loves straws) and could handle being cuddled and petted for hours at a time. A super lap-cat if ever there was one. Also, he could possibly make a very good 'therapy cat' as he doesn't hesitate to get very friendly very quickly with complete strangers. |
