We are a small cattery devoted to our feline family of persians. It all started around 1986 when we decided that it was unfair to have one cat alone during the day while we were at work....we felt sorry for the poor baby. We decided that if we were going to have a second cat, we might as well have a breeding pair. It was right about then that we became hooked. We had lots of help from the CCA breeders, notably Kay Hughes who even sewed us our very first cage curtains and then she helped us out at the shows as well.
Here we are, years later, actively showing our cats in CFA and CCA. We have learned a great deal along the way and we still have much to learn. Our cats really are our children and they are an integral part of our family. As much time as we spend on them, I think I would be lost without them. We have recently brought in some wonderful additions and many thanks go out to Lisa Smith, Tedd Munn, Charmayne Phillips, Marcel Letourneau and Diane Goulet.
I cannot forget to thank our exceptional veterinarian. We are thankfull to Dr. Kenneth Easton A friend of mine referred me to Ken years ago, and we have never ever had anything but the very best care for our cats and kittens. Ken makes house calls and brings not only his expertise, but his warmth and love with him too.
We are a PKD negative cattery, and have tested all of our cats. Considering that we have been breeding for over 15 years and have continued on with family lines, we do know the longevity and medical history of the Kitka family tree, which has not given us any concern & we guarantee the health of our kittens.
Well, enough about us....really, we are just ordinary people who adore all animals, but especially persian cats.
