The
Siberian Cat is a natural survival breed that has
existed in its Russian homeland for hundreds of
years, and was shown in cat shows ass early as
the 1700's. The Siberian cat is a large
strong cat with a thick, bushy tail, muscular
body and dense fur. Weight ranges from about 9 to
15 pounds for females and 13 to 22 pounds for
males. Siberian are very
affectionate and devoted cats. Being loyal
and loving companions. They are very playful and
intelligent cats, easy to train, and good
natured.
They enjoy being handled
and cuddled and hey love to help every
opportunity they get.
They are usually a very
quiet cat, they speak with purrs, chirps, squeaks
and body language.
They mature in 4 to 5
years with most of their size reached before they
are 3 years old.
Many allergy prone people
can enjoy this large, long-haired cat without
suffering allergic reaction. There is no
scientific proof of this, but there are personal
experiences that have quoted they have no
allergic reactions to the siberians. Siberian cat
have beautiful, easily maintained triple coats
only needing brushing when they're shedding their
winter coats in spring or early summer, but they
like to be brushed and pampered anytime you're
willing.
