The Metroid series was a very original and very challenging string of games that was first introduced in 1986. The Metroid series had one particular thing no other Videogame had at that time, A Female hero! (Some thought It was a guy, or a robot, and his name was Metroid, then again some people are idiots... lol) A female Hero was an unexpected but welcomed suprise! Her I have personel reveiws from the Metroid series based on my opinions,, including what I think about the different games as well as links to newgrounds to my Metroid flash parodies. OH and if you're asking where is prime? I havn't fully played it yet, once I can get a new job I will finally buy a game cube! :D

Graphics: Typical NES graphics! What more to say? Very good detail though on the levels and such.

Music: Catchy tunes that don't get very annoying.

Sounds:It's just annoying when you are really hurt, beep beep beep beep sounds like a tiny truck backing up or something.

Challenge:VERY challenging! But fun!
Cut scenes: None, the closest thing to a cut scene is at the end where samus waves to you.

Kitmouse's overall Review: I like this game a great deal! It's very fun and if I have one complaint, it's that the game does not save. whereas the Japanese version does! meh. its still good!

Name: Metroid 2 - The Return of Samus

System played:Gameboy (Any)
Graphics: Very good for a Game boy! Samus has alot of detail! Black and white yes, but still it's really good!

Music:Intresting tunes that, Like Metroid 1, don't get annoying. heh, it's creepy when things go silent though....

Sounds:if you're health is low IT'S ANNOYING AS HELL!

Challenge:ERB! it's the most challenging out of all the Metroid games!

Cut scenes: None but the ending again.

Kitmouse's overall Review: Very fun and challenging game that fits in your pocket! good for long road trips or quiet vacations, or if you really have no life, it's good for sitting at home and loesing you're mind!

Name: Super Metroid (Or Metroid 3)
Release Date: 1994
System played: SNES

Graphics: I can't beleive they are 16 bits! Man these are good for a Super Nintendo! Amazing detail and wonderful colors!

Music: AWSOME! These tunes are very VERY well done! They fit the mood and areas perfectly!

Sounds: Great! but as Metroids go, if you're low on health it can get kinda annoying.

Challenge: Very challenging your first time through!

Cut scenes: Very detailed and cool! You get to see scenes from Met 1 and 2 in SNES graphics!

Kitmouse's overall Review: This is the best out of the Metroid series! without a doubt Super Metroid gave everything Nintendo had! and they have never released a game that blew my mind as well as this one!

Name: Metroid Fusion (or Metroid 4)
Release Date: 2002 (8 friggin years since Met 3!!!!)
System played: Gameboy Advance

Graphics: Awsome graphics! 32 bits! although it doesn't look that much different then Met 3.

Music: Good, but, not totally great in my opinion.

Sounds:Awsome sound effects. Ridley sounds funny as hell!

Challenge: Not very challenging at ALL! You have a computer telling you what to do and where to go all the time!

Cut scenes: Beutiful and extremly well done!

Kitmouse's overall Review: Meh. This was a big dissapointment. I waited 8 years for this half ass Metroid game. Sure it was fun, but it gets boring after you beat it once, which only takes about a week..
