A/N: Sappy poem alert! I go from one extreme with the poem "I Want To Be Free" to the other with this one. It's from the point of view of my angel Tetsu and about his lover Yuki. Sooner or later I'll actually write their story... O_o... Note, they are both guys. ^_~

I saw you standing there in the forest meadow.

Your face was upturned,

Your eyes closed,

A smile played across your angelic face.

An angel...

That is what you were.

I turned away;

A demon should not gaze upon such beauty.

But I couldn't help it,

I looked at you again.

To my surprise,

You were looking at me and smiling.

My mind was reeling,

My heart was pounding in my chest.

Why are you not disgusted?

Why are you not afraid?

Why do you look at me with such...

Love?

Again, I turn away.

You should not look at me.

I am one of the Fallen.

I am the one who killed you,

Raped you,

And ruined your life.

He quietly walked toward me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I tried to pull away,

But he held me tighter.

"Why do you do this?"

He smiled and replied,

"Because I love you."

You love me?

For what?

I ruined your life before,

Don't you think it will happen again?

But he knew what I had gone through before,

He knew about the guilt and the pain I suffered.

I don't know why,

And I don't know how,

But the angel fell in love with me once again.

I may never understand how this angel can be so forgiving,

But I'm grateful that he is.

And if I were to die tomorrow...

I would always remember seeing my beautiful angel standing in the rain.
