GNComics Jokes, Gags, and Little Known Facts The GNComics Inner Circle - Since the first comic, the main circle of characters has changed quite a bit. Once revolving around Demmo, Kirby, Kojiro, and Tamalic, and Dias Flac as an occasional extra, here is the new circle. Demmo Kirby Setzer DF Kyo Kenshin Terra Occasionally, other characters will jump in, but these are the new main characters of the comic. The Coffee Chats - These were used to point out issues in real life or general crap that happened in the comic. The reason they aren't used as much anymore is because Demmo and Kirby make up an integral part of the chats, but he's not online as much and he's the reason that ideas come about for them in the first place. Ungodly High Amounts of Alcohol Drinking - Simply because a little beer here or there can make something funny. Even the word beer is funny. Just like the Simpsons. Demmo and Achika's On and Off Relationship - Although I never put any real finality on it, yes, the two of them are divorced. I won't explain too much, but they were together in the comic and because of a fallout between me and her for some odd reason (one of them even being her placement in the comic) they split ways. With that said, Demmo took Skyanar and Jeanne and then met Skye. Achika comes back from time to time, but only if I'm really bored and need some kind of distraction. Other than that, she's gone. From Dias to Hiro and Human Bendilin to Bendilin the Fox - This is a result of the apparently unfinished Digital Dilemma miniseries. When Demmo, Kirby, LTK and Bendilin fell into the warp, Demmo changed to Kitsune, Kirby turned yellow, and Bendilin turned into a fox. When they came back out of the warp, though inexplainable, Kitsune reverted back to Demmo. Kitsune later reappeared elsewhere. As for Hiro, the Dias Flac character just lost his effect in the comic and by special request from Hiro himself, Dias was then changed to Swordmaster Hiro. Kyo Kusanagi as Himura Kenshin - Well, for the purpose of a new miniseries, Rurouni Kyo, which will replace the Japan Miniseries, Kyo is the 21st century reincarnation of the former Battousai, Himura Kenshin. Kyo can not only do the cool fire moves as in his games, but his sword technique is superb as well. In website documents and such, Kyo (known more commonly as Kenshin) is referred to as Kyo Kenshin, his full first name. Setzer and Terra's Age - For some odd reason, they were in their mid to late 20s in FF6, but in this comic, they're 15 years old. Even stranger than that, GNComics takes place LONG after the events in FF6. Demmo, Eva, LTK, and Skyanar's ears - In this comic, these guys are all family. But the funny thing is, they all have elephantile ears. The truth is, they are Saedi Elves, a name I conjured up. The term Saedi comes from a mix between the words "Saiyan" and "Jedi", pronounced "SAY-die". Anyway, the elephant-sized ears are a common attribute in all Saedis, which allow them to express a wide range of emotions and perform several different functions, including fanning themselves and shielding their eyes. If a human were to mate with a Saedi, it would be just the same as mating with another human, the only difference being that your kid might get huge ears. Demmo, LTK, and Eva are all brothers and sister. Full blooded Saedis, whereas Skyanar is part human, but got the Saedi ears as a result of his parents, Demmo and Achika being together. Jeanne doesn't have the ears, though she is also part human. Hiro doesn't have the ears, but was born to TWO Saedis. Freaky, huh? Shenjiro and Kitsune as Brothers - The truth is, we're brothers in real life. Skye's Sudden Entrance into the Comic - Actually, Skye did NOT debut in the regular GNComics, but in GNComics: Stephenson High School Edition. She was based on a girl I once had a crush on, but she didn't have the same feelings for me. However, I thought that the matchup between her and Demmo was kinda cute, considering that they both have similar personality traits, so I kept them together in the comic. Don't worry. The girl in question and I are still friends. And she does know of Skye being in the comic and that she was a base for Skye's personality and look. Teenage Ash Ketuchum - Ash is still there, still floating around, still a little on the homo side. I just haven't figured out what to do with him. Drew, Sie Kensou, and BBK - They only appeared in the comic once, and my reasoning being, as much as Drew and BBK are cool, any ideas I had for a storyline ran dry when it came to them. Sie Kensou got sent to the nuthouse, thanks to Kojiro. Words of God in Red - Well, for those of us who are Christians, in the Bible when Jesus spoke His words were in red. God and Jesus being the same being (Jesus was the earthly incarnation of God), when God speaks in this comic, I make it a point to use red pen or colored pencil, parlty as a reference to the Great Big Book of Everything (the Bible, duh) and sort of as an inside joke for Christians who can at least understand the Bible somewhat. Malon and Achika NEVER Appearing in the Same Comic - This is because they are both sisters in real life and they only have one computer. So basically when talking to them online, I'm usually talking to one or the other. Malon is online more than Achika is, so Malon appears in more comics than her sister. Crim and Ruby - Because of us all being at GameNetworkz at one time, Crim and Ruby were RP siblings. This explains why another fox and human pair are related. Vaden - An all around nice guy, but Vaden rarely appears in the comic. I just can't come up with anymore ideas for him. As soon as I can get the Bombers miniseries completed, I can try and get Vaden back in the comic with a decent role. Falken and his Proxies - Falken really isn't gay. The Falken referred to as Faggy Falken in the Falken Chronicles is a gay Falken proxy running around trying to screw GN over. The real Falken appears in the Bombers miniseries. Once being the bad guy, Falken now tries to help out the inner circle, though he's really only earned Demmo's trust. Tamalic's Frequent Speling Eerors - Tamalic's constant misspelling of words is a result of how he spells things in chat. I won't go into much detail here. Bendilin in GNComics - The real reason he couldn't get out of the comic was because there are a LOT of ideas that could be used as a result of him being in the comics. Everything from Canada jokes to Bendilin killing Byron and Vegeta because of the Canada jokes. Karen - She actually debuted in the E3 miniseries, which was in actuality drawn before the second drunken free for all. She gets married to Kirby and is his biggest fan which is exemplified by her constantly following him around. Pomyu - Actually a great addition to the cast, Pomyu is the Japanese name for Bomberman's sidekick in the newer Bomberman games. Pomyu was added to take control in being the referee for the second drunken free for all. Dr. Banana - Dr. Banana first debuted in the now-nonexistant miniseries, The Defaggotizing of Ash Ketchum. Dr. Banana was the first monkey ever to graduate from college, go to med school, and get a Ph, D. Popo - Popo appeared in the E3 miniseries when the gang went to the E3 convention, but Kenshin made a wrong turn at Albuquerque and ended up in Antarctica. |
