The street lights flicker in the surprisingly quiet urban streets. The dull roar of a bar can be heard, along with the faint sounds of crickets and the occasional passing car. The buzz of the bar comes from an old fasioned inn called "The Rondo of Light and Shadows". Inside, the dull roar becomes a mix drone of noise, caused by the heacy slurring of drunks and billiard players, both human and fur alike. "Hey! JT! How 'bout another round?" A voluptuous, blonde haired woman shouts. "Nah. I need to be able to shoot straight." JT replies as he lines up his next shot. A mucled, shaggy wolf claps JT on the back, "That's th'point! Unless yur hammered, we don't stand a chance!" "You're here almost every night and you still can't play?" "Hey! Easy there! That's a bit harsh! I've improved! I'm justa tad drunk s'all!" "There's an understatement if I've ever heard one." The woman mocks. "Ain't you jus' fulluv piss an' vinegar today?" The lupine recoils from the smack across his muzzle. "So what do you make of it, Mark?" "They were crazy to make you a bleedin' servin' whench here, Viv." He retorts, just before the blonde shoves him into the pool table. Vivian walks away to return to her work. "She's one tough sheila!" "You sound suprised." JT says as he sets about to restart their game. "Sorry, 'bout our game, mate. She pushed me right into the table." "Excuses never get you anywhere." "You could do better" Mark challenges. "Of course." JT smiles wickidly. Mark lunges at JT, trying to shove him just as he was shoved by Vivian. The vulpine quickly reacts, stepping off to the side as his wolf companion draws close. He brings his foot outward, tripping Mark. Before the wolf can land, JT gets his cigarette case out, removes one of his self-rolled cigarettes, lights it, and returns both case and lighter. "Told ya." The fennec snickers as Mark gets up. "How'd you do that?" Vivian asks as she eases her way behind JT. She caresses him as he leans into his shot. She grabs him around his waist, leaning in sohe can feel her brasts against his back. He takes his shot, completly ignoring Vivian. He turns to face her. She was somewhat tall, for a human female. He had to look up at her when he spoke, "Its very easy, Viv. Clear your mind and flow like water." Vivian leans in closer to his face, "I don't understand. Maybe there's a... better way to teach me?" She whispers into his ear as presses her body against his. "It's very simple." He whispers back. "Water can take any form as needed. One moment, it can gently trickle down," Vivian leans in even closer, her lips are almost touching his. "Or it can crash upon you in a frightful torrent." He slips away from her effortlessly, and before she can even gasp, she's laying on the ground. "You know I'm gonna get you for this." "And I'm the queen of england." Vivian curtsies, "Your Majesty." She glares at JT. "Ah, Sir Mark! The royal jester has arrived!" JT exclaims sarcastically. "You are impossible!" She huffs. "I get that alot." JT laughs "And for good reason." Mark adds smilingly. |
