1 lg. can sliced peaches
1 box dry yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of margarine
cinnamon and/or nutmeg

Dump can of peaches in oblong baking dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon
Dump box of cake mix evenly over peaches.
Dot top with margarine and sprinkle top with cinnamon.
Bake at 350* til browned or it looks done.

Delicious!!!
Even better with some cool whip on it.

1 1/2 lbs. homemade noodles
1 cup creamy cottage cheese
6 oz. cream cheese
1 cup thick sour cream
1/4 tsp. ea. salt and pepper
1/3 cup chopped scallions or chives
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook homemade noodles in rapidly boiling water for about 8 minutes.
Drain well and keep warm.

Mash creamy cottage cheese with cream cheese and thick sour cream.
Mix this with the noodles and season with salt and pepper.
Mix in lightly chopped scallions or chives and turn the mixture into a generously buttered 2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, dot with butter and bake in a moderate oven (350*) for 30 min.

1 cup fresh butter
6 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups blackberry jam
2 cups surgar
2 cups flour
2 tsp.baking soda
2 tsp.cinnamon

mix first 3 ingredients, stir in blackberry jam.
Combine dry ingredients and add to liquid.
Mix until creamy.
Pour batter into a greased 13x9x2 baking pan.
Bake at 350* for 45 min. or until firm.
Serves 12

1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown surgar
1 stick of butter

Mix all ingredients together, set aside.

Line a 9x13 in. baking pan with peeled and sliced granny smith apples.
(put on as many as you like)
Pour crumbs on top of apples and bake at 350* for 40-45 minutes.

1 ham
1 1/2 cup brown surgar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup dry fine bread crumbs
12 oz. coca-cola
cloves

Cook ham accordingly until it reaches an internal temperature of 160*.

When cool enough to handle, pull off skin.
Mix brown surgar, mustard and bread crumbs.
Coat top of ham. Score and stud with cloves.
Pour coca-cola around ham, cover and bake at 400* for about 35 min.
Baste with liquid every 15 min.

Let ham set for 30 min. before carving or cover with wax paper and cool.
Cold ham slices better then hot.
15 lb. ham can serve 30 people.

chicken

6-8 chicken drumsticks
1/2 cup real mayonaise
2-3 tbsp. mustard
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1.4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
(made from 2-3 slices of fresh bread)

Rinse and pat dry the chicken

Mix the mustard and mayonaise together in one bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and black pepper.

Using a pastry brush, coat a drumstick liberally with the mayonaise/mustard mixture, then roll the drumstick in the bread crumbs.
Lay the coated drumstick on a baking sheet.
Repeat for all drumsticks.
Bake at 350* for 45 min. or until done through and juices run clear.

You can double this recipe and adjust the amounts for taste.
I prefer more garlic.
