Her destiny is guarding the Gates of Time, alone. She has lived through every era, seen many things, and protected the Royal Family through it all. This mysterious soldier is Sailor Pluto, the Soldier of Time and Space.

Sailor Pluto usually does not leave the Gates of Time unless there is a major problem in the time line. Then she must leave to correct it. Her duties as a Sailor Soldier is to guard the Gates of Time, correct any time distortions, and to keep well informed of what is happening around her. She is the only Sailor Soldier that did not die at the destruction of the Silver Millennium and has lived since then.

In the manga, Sailor Pluto shows up more often. She has even left Diana to guard the Gates of Time while she went to help the Sailor Soldiers in a battle. She was said to be 'reborn' when she appeared in SailormoonS of the manga. Setsuna is a freshman in college in this reborn form and majors in theoretical physics. Her dream is to become a designer.

Meioh Setsuna likes green tea and physics. Her favorite pastime is shopping and she enjoys watching over Chibi-Usa. She dislikes eggplant and music.

Sailor Pluto whispers this to form a purple-colored representation of her planet Pluto with her staff, and then hurls it at the enemy.

Dark Dome Close
This is Sailor Pluto's forbidden power, which allows her to close the passage of time. She only used it once to save Uranus's and Neptune's lives. However, she had to leave the battle for breaking a time taboo.

Time Stop
This is another one of Sailor Pluto's forbidden powers. It's used to stop time in exchange for her own life.
