Kitty Safety
NASTY IF NIBBLED

Some house and gardenplants should be off-limits. Poinsettia, ivy and rhododendron are just a few that are poisonous to cats.
BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Its a good idea to keep household cleaners shut away in a cabinet, safe from prying paws. Rat bait and other pesticides are toxic and pose a threat to your pet as well as to neighbouring animals, so your family may want to avoid using these things altogether.
CAR TROUBLE

Never leave a cat, or any pet inside a car. Even with the windows open, it can become dangerously hot inside a closed vehicle. Cat do not perspire like humans, so even if you are cool as a cucumber, remember that your fury friend may be feeling overheated.
TUMMY TROUBLE

Cats are famous for craving milk and fish, but the fact is both can upset their stomachs. Other foods to avoid: onions, chocolates and raw egg whites.
