The history of K.I.T.T.E.N. is short, but very complex. Erin Kennedy and Danielle Geist met at Moravian College in the fall semester of 2002. Both were music majors and taking a musicianship class when, while trying to cheat on music dicatations, the two formed a friendship that would later result in the birth of K.I.T.T.E.N. Erin and Danielle found a special connection in their friensdship, taking on the conventions of the traditional Music Major at Moravian. Their friendship grew as did their music tastes as Danielle betrayed her "emo-ness" to begin listening to hardcore. Many shows were seen, many diners visited, and the greatest srping break ever was had.

The time came for choosing new room mates for the 2003-2004 school year, and Erin invited Danielle to come live with her and her current room mate Christine. The plans were sealed and then the hilarity ensued. With Erin and Danielle living in close quarters and seeing each other basically everyday, it was no surprise that music would result. Both Erin and Danielle had previously performed acoustically at the college coffeehouse, and after Erin had a falling out with her previous band, the forming of K.I.T.T.E.N. was not too far away.

On Valentine's day, 2004 Erin and Danielle had had a day full of fun heart-stomping activities which commenced with the worldwide premeire of Glitter on VH1. Danielle, using some FATA tabs previously printed out, whipped out her acoustic guitar and the two began to jam. Their friend Rachelle watched on as the two found several songs which they began to play, and plans were formed to perform at coffeehouse that week.

Erin had previously commented on the lack of hardcore acoustic bands, so the deal was sealed. Under the previous name of "the orchid & gumball poker club" Erin and Danielle did their first performance as a band on February 18th, 2004. As the two planned for their next performance, they decided a more hardcore name was needed, so on a trip to a diner, the two agreed upon a new name: Kicking Infidels Through The Endless Nothingness (or K.I.T.T.E.N. for short). The two are still currently working hard on bringing the world of acoustic hardcore to audiences far and wide.
